I'm not entirely sure, but IB4M and previous Imm? Anymore I'm not the greatest at remembering old Imm names except for those who were around forever and any of the originals. It takes some getting used to once you've returned, but you will probably pick it up pretty quickly considering areas for the most part haven't changed in that time span. Though some of the ones that were refreshed are completely different, only Maelbrim (old school Rheydin) has actually changed. And Val Miran added an extra room heading west from the Central Square that was going on for quite a while.

Well at least your help file is still about. I know some others had been removed or at least taken out of the regular players hands. Either way though, you'll probably get used to it pretty quickly. Spellforged items are nifty and so is the RP point system. Being able to locate items as a melee is very nice to be able to do.

Balance. Even the word intones completes harmony. Just as a Scale must
be equal, so must the lands of Aabahran. Darkness is balanced by Light, and
Order by Disorder. There, in the middle of it all, stands the True Path of
Neutrality. Four sides to a cube, and a Left to a Right.

Avariel, Spectrum of Balance, guards the delicate Scale that is Aabahran and
guides those who would strive to walk the Path of Neutrality. She stands
as it's Angelic Protector and Mother, to watch over the Scale and her
children of the True Path.

Hailing from another plane, this mysterious angel walked in the Balance,
as she guided and taught those who sought to follow her. As time went by,
Avariel began to hear the cries of her children in Aabahran. Transcending time
and space, she emerged  high above in the Heavens of Aabahran. It is from here,
those her constant gaze remains fixed on her children and the Scale.

So, been kicking around some lowbies trying to get a feel for rhe game rhythm and map and gear and upkeep.

Main problem: where is everyone?

No one to hunt with, no one to fight and kick the rust off. True, gives me more time to do solo quests and explore but damn! How do you earn RP points with so few people? Seen one IMM.

Sigh.

Between 3-6 PM MST there's usually between 1 and 5 people in the last couple weeks that are visible. Between 5-8 AM MST there's two. The rest of the time though seems to be a gamble and often you're the only one who's online. You can write notes and journals for RP points if you wanted to gain them that way. There's a few quests that also grant them too, but it's not like you can keep milking them for it outside of one, but even then you'd need a group to complete that one typically unless you're just a tank and can absorb the damage without worry. IE: Healer, Warrior, BMG, Ranger, or an Imm. But I don't think that last one would me nearly as much fun.

When I came back it took me a bit to figure out some of those quests as well. I kept hearing of this Blissful Falls place  being full of badass equipment and varying other places as well. Some quests had been added and prior to that point I only knew of around 72 or so quests to complete which was pretty much the most you could at the time without having to change alignments to get the Evil or Good only quests or even just the quests specifically for good/neutral or neutral/evil. Now there's over 100. And there's also race only quests for Humans which helps them gain the Master Questor easily if they know the others. You should go about and try to look for them though. I'm sure you might really enjoy it. There's still a few I think are still quests but I haven't been able to because I'm not exactly sure how to initiate them. So that leaves about five I think or so not to mention the fact that there's some other odd things around that I've found that seem like they could be a part of another quest but I've never actually seen what they could do and no one else seems to know either. That alone can be entertaining enough to look around the game when everything is quiet.

That is the one good thing about it being empty. I've found a few things from the Asylum on the ground as well, and I knew they hadn't been there when I was last around a few hours prior. So there's people playing, I just don't know who and when. I am curious as to where the hell everyone is though. It has become very boring when you only see the same people around the same times day in and day out. Or in my case no one at all. Maybe they're all actually living life for once while I'm hoping to find a group to Gear or through the Offices. 😛
