I'm only posting this because A) I thought it was really funny. It's OBVIOUSLY not because I got the "kill" on him because he basically had to let me win.  And B ) I wanted to show how much lvl52 mals and lvl 52 mentals basically didn't help shit.

Elephant that he has designed into a belt, its skull acting as the buckle. 
Pants of bear-skin once belonging to a dark brown grizzly bear hug his
muscled legs.  Bands of the same leopard-skin are wrapped around his thighs,
with utility pouches attached to them.  The skulls of two smaller animals
cover each kneecap.  At his calves are black boots of the scaly and leathery
hide of an alligator.  

He carries a lengthy, enchanted weapon, its wooden shaft bound to a serrated
end in the shape of a Lozenge.  Feathers of a dragon, griffin, and other
rare and dangerous winged creatures are decorated at the fastened point
between the shaft and its end.  In his offhand he carries a short blade bent
at an angle as that of a boomerang.  Various other hunting instruments and
weapons are upon his person.  
Decimus currently holds the title of Master Questor of Aabahran.

The Northern Commons
  The center of the northern half of Maelbrim, the Northern Commons is a
distribution point for food to the locals and a meeting place of less
formality than the Forum.  Set with limestone, the foundations of this area
are firm and elegant.  Wide enough to support machines of war or a line of
defenders, the tactical and logistic value of this part of town was not
ignored.  The battlements of the massive Aabahran Gate are to the north of
here.  To the southwest is the Milieu.  The Temple of Darkness is to the
northwest.  The Temple of Compassion is to the northeast of here.  To the
south lies the Forum, the center of Maelbrim.

Strong cheekbones and a cleft chin complement his prominent and fearsome
features.  The black-brown complexion is akin to that of the texture of ash,
and is riddled with nicks and cuts, revealing sweltering orange heat just
below the surface.  The largest of scars being a slash reaching vertically
from his brow, down over his eyelid, outward to the center of his cheek. 
His thick lips are twisted into sneer of dissatisfaction.  

An open garment, worn as a sleeveless vest reveals his muscled chest and
chiseled abdominals.  It is made of the brownish pelt, resembling the head
and face of a Lion, its bright green eyes centered near each lapel.  The
exaggeratingly plush reddish mane rises outward and upward past his thick
neck, as a high collar would.  A necklace is visible, intertwined of the
dangling fangs of various wild animals.  The skull of a Rhinoceros with its
daunting horns is mounted on his left shoulder whereas the skull of an Elk
with its lavish antlers is mounted upon his right shoulder.  Thick bands the
texture and contrasting spots of a leopard are worn around his biceps. 
Wraps made of the tough hide of an armadillo are worn around his wrists,
laced with the contrasting patterns of a Zebra's stripes and are fashioned
into fingerless gloves.  

An assortment of pouches and ivory tusks jut out from around the hide of an
Elephant that he has designed into a belt, its skull acting as the buckle. 
Pants of bear-skin once belonging to a dark brown grizzly bear hug his
muscled legs.  Bands of the same leopard-skin are wrapped around his thighs,
with utility pouches attached to them.  The skulls of two smaller animals
cover each kneecap.  At his calves are black boots of the scaly and leathery
hide of an alligator.  

He carries a lengthy, enchanted weapon, its wooden shaft bound to a serrated
end in the shape of a Lozenge.  Feathers of a dragon, griffin, and other
rare and dangerous winged creatures are decorated at the fastened point
between the shaft and its end.  In his offhand he carries a short blade bent
at an angle as that of a boomerang.  Various other hunting instruments and
weapons are upon his person.

Reading this again and again I am puzzled.  Now, I don't know how exactly spell lvl "works" per se, but I do know that supposedly our saves took a hit some time ago to try and counter act vs all this saves gear.

 

Shouldn't this be a prime example of what that was supposed to "fix" ?  I'm casting lvl52 mental/mals here.  IIRC he has a mental vuln, even.

I didn't even put any thought into clarifying this until the issue came to my attention recently. One of the points of deleting was not to take up wares for the rest of the pb. I forget the timeframe but I realized his wares still weren't purged. Because alot of my eq was norem/nodrop, bound or nouncurse and felt this was the more fun option of doing it, I decided to just fight the first person that logged on and sacrifice whatever what was left over. I didn't realize I'd be that much stronger lol. During the fight I did test that it is actually possible to rage against necros, something Decimus never tried before. I later found out after this post actually that Zrothum played this character. And if anyone knows our relationship knows this definitely wasn't ooc lol. In the end the wares ended up on two characters that were online at the time and left the rest on the ground for others of a shift to claim. I didn't realize this was against the rules so if @Rygothrancan enlighten me I'd appreciate it. I do apologize if anyone believed otherwise.

To reward those who were salty about the situation in the end my saves were close to the following. 

Save vs  Spell: -43  Affliction: -40  Malediction: -18  Mental: -34  Breath: -11

I suppose it will depend on how you look at the situation to be honest. You can consider it OOC in part because you know as a player that purposely trying to die (which is also against the rules) to allow your rares to circulate. By leaving them on the ground, you're also possibly skirting the lines of basically giving low level characters access to high level rares that they could not attain in a group at their ranks. That's just off the top of my head though, but ultimately it can be difficult to prove that any of those were your intentions even though you most likely didn't intend for that to be the case. It's usually just safer to delete and possibly get any last second ID's done for your records later on.

Out of curiosity though, what all did you have that needed to be swapped out in favor for hit/dam and for saves in general? Those all seem really high, but very useful considering your opponents. I'm sure you could have afforded to use more saves EQ based on the fact that rage bumps yours up a great deal, but more of either can always be really nice to have overall too.

Urgh, I shoulda logged in more. Agmeel was frothing for that capture lol Good fights though, you really surprised me a few times! I remember I went Buddha stance by mistake once against you (Since I had to fight in defensive or died in a 50 round bashlock...or so it felt like) I thought I was fucked until those kicks started coming through for me. It's now my "go to" stance for fighting giants.
