Wiki?

Erelei's still the only admin behind the wiki as far as I'm aware.  There may be something we can do for a decent format in that regard, but it'll need him to implement it if there is.  I'll have to ask exactly what he's put onto it, if anything.

Once a proper format is had, I can always have my client format them to it with little problem and mass load the first batch.  Providing a mass load is possible.

What exactly are you trying to look for? In most cases I just pull up my own file as I've got a majority of all IDs saved in notepad and honestly only ever used the Wiki prior to creating my own list. I've got a majority of all rare/unique items that I can think of, including obscure ones and ones that only have one making it difficult to get IDs of them. I already know where the items go on the body, so I usually just use it to do a find within my file to see what the ID I have states. I've got multiples in there due to changes and forgetting to delete the old ones to boot, but I pretty much already know what they are since I've been adding to it since last year. I've also sent Magick a few IDs he's missing, and was able to fill in a few blanks of my own while looking at his pastebin portion of it. Before I even knew that the Wiki had bard builds on it, I was creating my own master list of what materials created what and the likes followed by a lot of varying herbs, what they did, how long it would last, and how long it would possibly stave off addiction pains if you were to become addicted.

He's been giving me quite a bit that I've been missing and I've been updating as I go.
As for searchable, no it's not.  No different than in a regular text file.  Ctrl+F is your friend.

Yes, it's missing a lot.  That's why I'm collecting from all sources, too.  If you have ones I don't have, I'll put it in the master list.  This is a group effort, not a one man show.

Fairly sure they can.  I've always viewed it as the IMPs having things like balance changes and various things of that nature that they have their hands full with.
Oh, to have a couple hours with oload, Imm identify (like Brambus) and eat, if nothing else.

Also, we're slowly getting out of the "secrecy" era.  We're a long way from where we were, but still have a ways to go I think.

At one point in time I just started saving IDs in different notepad documents based on where those items were worn. I got about halfway through them all before I stopped playing and didn't even open the files back up even after I was playing again years later. It wouldn't be too difficult to do something like that yourself if you have the time and are willing to, but in all honesty, I always found the CTRL + F search to work far faster assuming you already know what items you're looking for at least. If you want something along the lines of best in class for armor, saves, hit/dam, or +stat selections though, that's something else entirely for it. Usually though you can easily pull up a list of each class and create your own with your top 5 choices for what you're looking for in those categories, and then sub alternates if said items weren't available at that time. Which I started doing as well like a month ago, but my bitch ass laptop doesn't like to keep it open sometimes and I end up losing the file because I get through it quite a ways and forget to save. Then the next time I'm on it, Windows decided it needed to have an update because fuck me from Microsoft, that's why. For some off reason I can't even log my sessions anymore either because the files aren't recognized for some reason. All of that really pisses me off to the point if I don't just shrug it off, I flip out some. Those are just a few suggestions though if you're not wanting to do it yourself assuming it doesn't come back like that. I found that consumables list was the only thing I ever really looked at because I had a majority of all unique/rare items already identified. When I returned, I also just made a new file and began identifying as much as I could about 8 months after, so everything I do have is from February of 2017 and later with updates made along the way. I need to start working more on non rare items though, it would help me a lot.

Maybe it is because of my own business and how I run it.  But I would never have denied customers a resource because "oops we broke links, someone will be around to fix it one day" the premise is frustrating.

Lots of people use the Wiki, I look up lore, histories, decide what i'm going to play, browse items.  A whole slew of things.  And I know others do as well.

Making jabs saying "go explore" implies an infinite amount of time to do so as well.  Which many of us don't have.  Also something I wouldn't say to people who use my product, and find different parts of it desirable.

But, hey, I don't run the mud.
