Even if it was for just this fight specifically you'd at least hit his vuln and probably have a much larger margin for error. Had you not haymakered the sanc off, he'd have won. So any time you fight a Fire Giant Berserker and you are also one, I'd say get that weapon and have a go. Also find a means to haste yourself so you're hitting him more than once each round. I've noticed that even though the Berserker has third attack, a majority of the time I only ever really hit twice each round and seldom a third time unless I dual wielded. Haste would basically give you a higher chance to land 3 per round and possibly a 4th as well. Link to comment

He just blocked the polearm form all day in that other fight. Axe or Mace form is your best bet because there is no way you are beating him without cabal skills. Link to comment
