as being of Halfling ancestry. You are drawn to the ruby adorned eye patch
that covers his left eye, creeping from beneath the patch is noticeable
fresh scar tissue, it would appear he was inflicted with a horrific eye
injury during his travels.

His hair is an unkept mass of curls that resembles a desert sand color,
the frayed strands protrude past his pointed ears and consists of prominent
sideburns. His facial characteristics are otherwise pleasant with little to
no facial hair contrasting against his fair and pale skin tone.

Loosely around his neck he sports a torn woolen scarf as if it can be
easily transitioned into a bandana, it is a stony grey and embroidered with
a light cobble pattern that is hardly visible to the untrained eye. His
cloak obscures much of his figure, it gives way below the clasp at the base
of his neck and floats at his ankles. On closer inspection the cloak was
once a deep forest green however with its age, it is plagued with a dense
urban dust and stained to a near charcoal like appearance.

Freely hanging, his vascular arms extend from under the cloak, he wears
well-seasoned wrist guards made of stained leather that are bound tightly
with lace on inner forearm. There are small pockets stitched into the guards
that appear to contain small parts and mechanisms that are easily accessible
at will. Both hands are disproportionately large and well calloused with hair
sprouting on the topside like weeds.

As you look down this individual, a beautifully hilted short sword and
sheath is seen hanging rigidly from his waist line which draws your gaze
down to his unsightly feet which are similar to his hands with oversized
digits and an influx of hair carpeting the top which appears filthy from his
travels.
He is the ultimate explorer.

You would have done a lot better using lightning in that last battle, I think. Also, if you're good/neutral, I would get some ancient scrolls of tuo for the heal. Sylf used to use those things religiously.

You can use call lightning in the Ford, you just can't do it where it's snowing.
Color those lines so you know what's going on.  Also make use of the command "weather" if you need to.

Parry more and find a spell more powerful than the most powerful spell (hellstream) and use that.

Some people might say get your spell level UP but that wont help, max damage is max damage regardless of the level the spell is cast at. Level 50 hellstream does the same amount as a level 55 hellstream where it saves or it doesnt, it calculates sanc, resistance, stance and whatever other damage modifiers are in play and then dishes out its remainder. 

Strategy wise invokers have zero attrition game, the more HP the worse it is because you cant regen it fast enough to get back into battle. 

Basically you cant outdamage him and if the sun were to blast you with a ray of light and his stance were to drop in battle he will just go hide 2 ticks until he recovers from that blast.

If he wasnt magic resist and carried a pocketfull of plague and poison cures id suggest some scrolls, you 'could try' getting a charmie and pray for a well timed bash.

You need to get parry to 105 if possible, the willow palm wheel and some sockets should do the trick. Try to gather some black sapphires. 

Get your ac as high as you can and outdamage him with call lightnings. 

Use your elemental shields and cancel them between engagements and reapply the opposite shield so he has to keep guessing, don't discredit the passive damage they do. 

As for actual tactics, you want to patiently wait in a firestorm for him to walk to you and he will patiently be waiting for you to walk into a room he's setup with traps. You want to be sitting in front of your cabal guard ready for him and outdamage with call lightnings. You'll need a way to recover between bouts because you'll ideally not want to move(if you leave your standard is gone and you're playing into traps). 

Look for some hit gain items or something like the bandages for the slow on use. For this to work effectively however you'll need to reverse time a blackjack. There are mobs who will attempt to do it if you get the prep time beforehand. 

You'll have to do a lot right to get the kill and there is always a chance that you will die to an antimagic combo.

The only thing you need to do is outdamage him.

There are 2 venues to do that:

1) Deal more damage

2) Take less damage

Wade already covered them quite well.

I would just like to add this - with chrono shield up you are taking ~100 damage per round. This is nothing for an invoker. You can EASILY dish out way more than that, even against a magic resistant race. If you read your own logs you will see that 90% of the time you are either not casting anything or casting the wrong spells.

That said, this thief is your bane. The player does a thief very well, and he is resistant to you.

Magenta potions. Cost to remove curse is cheap compared to their ability to aid.

Keep stone skin up. Make him come to the stream. Stop taking the dirt.

You can reset as many times as it takes. Kudos to Gila for courage and tenacity.

On Parry, 105 is suggested. But honestly, look at his logs, he hits others just as often who are melees with 110. Again, magenta potions, your going to eat some damage. What you need is to reduce reset time, IMO.

Curious as to the AC of the invoker.   If you push it way high he will start to miss a bunch of stuff.  And by way up there, I mean 800ish.  Get four efuzans balls.  Get your sea elf ring.   You can attrition well enough with them.   Master reverse time when you get it.   Chromosphere will help with his damage.
