Long golden hair gleams as if it had been polished.  
Fair and well-trimmed sweeping across a wide brow to
shade river-blue eyes, a handsome face with strong
bones and a stern jaw-line.  His exotic complexion
gleams of a blue tint, looking very enthralling on
his affixing muscular giant frame.  There was
confidence in the curvature of the lips, and a bit
of gentleness to balance the stubborn line of the jaw.  
There is wisdom in the wrinkling of his black brows,
and perseverance in grip of his gaze.  
 
His long golden locks overlap a thick, brightly
colored, crimson cape which tucks into a set of thick  
shoulder plates. Resting upon his broad shoulders the
pauldrons mount on a piece of sturdy silver body armor
that encases around his torso and chest.  The full
plate extends to armament the rest of his body in
complete protection. Nearly the full length of his body
and half his own width, an incredibly large and
exquisitely decorated halberd is held tightly in his
gauntleted right hand.  A dragon's maw visor helm
buckles over his head obscuring his features with the
drawable face plate.
 
A finely crafted set of gray silken chaps, embroidered
in red and gold seams covering his lower body.  A well
forged pair of light silver boots, are buckled about
his feet. Ornamented with a white gold chain, an
ominous golden cross is about his neck, reflecting the
light into a prism of colors.  A jeweled cross floats
nearby occasionally sparking ablaze with a shower of
embers.

Long golden hair gleams as if it had been polished.  
Fair and well-trimmed sweeping across a wide brow to
shade river-blue eyes, a handsome face with strong
bones and a stern jaw-line.  His exotic complexion
gleams of a blue tint, looking very enthralling on
his affixing muscular giant frame.  There was
confidence in the curvature of the lips, and a bit
of gentleness to balance the stubborn line of the jaw.  
There is wisdom in the wrinkling of his black brows,
and perseverance in grip of his gaze.  
 
His long golden locks overlap a thick, brightly
colored, crimson cape which tucks into a set of thick  
shoulder plates. Resting upon his broad shoulders the
pauldrons mount on a piece of sturdy silver body armor
that encases around his torso and chest.  The full
plate extends to armament the rest of his body in
complete protection. Nearly the full length of his body
and half his own width, an incredibly large and
exquisitely decorated halberd is held tightly in his
gauntleted right hand.  A dragon's maw visor helm
buckles over his head obscuring his features with the
drawable face plate.
 
A finely crafted set of gray silken chaps, embroidered
in red and gold seams covering his lower body.  A well
forged pair of light silver boots, are buckled about
his feet. Ornamented with a white gold chain, an
ominous golden cross is about his neck, reflecting the
light into a prism of colors.  A jeweled cross floats
nearby occasionally sparking ablaze with a shower of
embers.

of an enormous gold dragon looms in front of you, easily reaching the height
of an ordinary two-storied house.  Metal scales coat the outer walls, coated
in a thin gold layer.  The dragon has been depicted lying on the ground, its
huge open maw constituting the doors.  Huge red stained glass windows form
the dragon's eyes, formed round, rather than square.  Even the spiked
neckline has found its equivalent, forged from gold coated steel plates.
The dragon's two front paws lie to the side of the entrance, each daggerlike
claw depicted in great detail and about man-sized.  The beast's tail is
wound around its body, over the top of its head, the tip coming to rest just
beside the right front paw.

Fair and well-trimmed sweeping across a wide brow to
shade river-blue eyes, a handsome face with strong
bones and a stern jaw-line.  His exotic complexion
gleams of a blue tint, looking very enthralling on
his affixing muscular giant frame.  There was
confidence in the curvature of the lips, and a bit
of gentleness to balance the stubborn line of the jaw.  
There is wisdom in the wrinkling of his black brows,
and perseverance in grip of his gaze.  
 
His long golden locks overlap a thick, brightly
colored, crimson cape which tucks into a set of thick  
shoulder plates. Resting upon his broad shoulders the
pauldrons mount on a piece of sturdy silver body armor
that encases around his torso and chest.  The full
plate extends to armament the rest of his body in
complete protection. Nearly the full length of his body
and half his own width, an incredibly large and
exquisitely decorated halberd is held tightly in his
gauntleted right hand.  A dragon's maw visor helm
buckles over his head obscuring his features with the
drawable face plate.
 
A finely crafted set of gray silken chaps, embroidered
in red and gold seams covering his lower body.  A well
forged pair of light silver boots, are buckled about
his feet. Ornamented with a white gold chain, an
ominous golden cross is about his neck, reflecting the
light into a prism of colors.  A jeweled cross floats
nearby occasionally sparking ablaze with a shower of
embers.

I'm uncabaled, and his Knight powers aren't very useful vs me. And I'm dancing a Onyx lance.
At the start he didn't take me seriously, but but after a few runs, he started to at least use a magic cursed weapon.
My combo has a lot of space to grow, like dancing Soublight, and getting +spell level gear to aid Dispel Magic.
Perhaps some more AC and better saves to prevent flameblind. A poison weapon so I can slow him.
And joining Savant or Nexus.
Not to speak of Edges.

I saw a lot of commendable effort and tactics from blind to rust and straight up damage. I don't think I ever saw him below "Some small wounds and bruises." That's tough. Your AC is also suuuuuper low for a BMG, getting that up might help you even out the damage a bit. Good luck!

I agree your magical AC is super low for a BMG. I always found between the leaves and clayed hair, those offer a massive boast. You kind of want to be aiming for -750 + in magical

Your neck pieces I don't think aren't very helpful against Dranthos in particular, except maybe the fire blind.

It's kind of silly that the rust debuff can be dispelled

Not sure what edges will really do for ya. A little AC and regen isn't going to change too much. MAYBE that anti sader one? pricey though.

Reverse time for a BMG would be quite sweet, helps a bit with the chasing and not having spells drop off so quickly. And the storm for the +spell level.

Blood filled or Soulblight are two heavy, verrrry nice dancing options for evils. Even that carpenters hammer is heavy with a huge average. Great to have as a mundane dancing option.

Opening with murder is fine, he doesnt get his rush and you dont get lagged the 1-2 rounds enabling him to flee and rush.

Consider that your peak, you did as well as any bmage could do. There are NO skill or spell bonuses or buffs from nexus or savant that would make those fights go any differently. 

As soon as your enemy wields a nodisarm magical weapon with decent saves he can just stand in front of you without using commands and win, simply waiting to smoke an herb or rub a glim and chase.

That being said, a knight E bmage could tear alot of shit up.

I agree.  Murder prevents him from doing a flee, scan, impale.  

This log just shows Dranthos standing around while a may-fly tries to hurt him.  I think his lowest is small wounds the entire time? Does Dranthos even enter a command in combat...I dont think so.

I find this interesting.  He has no weapon here, where is the punishment?  One Devestate, then dodging everything else.   

I find it amusing that he was using a horribly inefficent weapon.  Then when he realizes the BMG isn't going away, just switches to god-mode. 

Will be curious to see if you fare any better in future engagements.  Since you cant improve the accuracy of your dancing/scythes though, I believe you are SOL on doing more to him than this.  I mean you might make quite a few wounds if he stands around with no weapon for a bit.  Though even then he was avoiding 90% of your hits.

We need logs which tell us when Dranthos is crusading against you, not crusading, or crusading against s.o. else. Else the log are not as helpful. If you can edit that in, please do so. From Dranthos output I'd assume he was not crusading against you - at least for a great part of these logs.

I was mostly the only evil one online. I think he was crusading against me the whole time.
You can see him declare a crusade on the first one.

I was quitting and returning a lot to review the fights. Maybe once he wasn't crusading but most times he was.

The first one, I think he was trying to Level his Sceptre. That's why I didn't sacrifice it.
When his axe is doing physical damage, I think he is controlling damage to bait me to use Reflective shield. So that he could lag me.
But his control damage is no match for my air shield damage reduction.
My character not having a vuln, probably means he can't get a damage bonus other than crusade and high avg weapon when using magic damage. I'm always under protection and sanctuary. And he most likely hasn't that big of a damroll.

Not sure if this helps.

Get a quest wheel, the skull is not doing much for you.

Try a marmalade orb as opposed to that rusty blade.

Moonstone pendant might be high level, but emerald necklaces with a bauble would severely increase your AC.

Runed black gauntlets are inferior to inquisitors gauntlets.

Put a bauble in the arm harness.

I'd say he also put some small wounds and bruises on Drathos' supplies.  What I see in this log:

You're not putting any pressure at all on Drathos.  You could have been but you were spending too much time trying to dispel.  You will get a lot more mileage out of rust than dispel in this fight.  I'm not saying don't try here and there, but i think i saw a few times where you cast it 3-4 times in a row.  By the 2nd/3rd time, Drathos already has his macro ready for glimmering staff.  Try to dispel when he lags himself on a two-round command.  Then immediately follow it up with a sear or METEOR SWARM! 

Which brings me back to pressure.  The only afflictives you should be using are sear, meteor swarm, and i'd argue colour spray if you need a spell opener that isn't sear.Don't open with meteors unless Drathos opens with a two round lagging skill.  At least test that vs. sharpmetal.  Giants have physical resist.

Now your Eldritch weapon selection.  I would go with the rib of Shudde'mell over onyx lance and it's easy to get solo.  Best option is Vlad's voulge or the Soulblight sword but significant more risk/time getting those by yourself.

The weapon you wield should at least do some kind of proc dmg.  There are plenty of nodrop weapons you can wield better than rusty blade.
