On the other side, the land drops from beneath your feet, too steep to climb down without falling. You can peer over into the base of the mountain from here. There are many plant life present, ranging from large pines to small bushes. All sorts of animals run about. They do not seem frightened by your presence. Instead, they run up to you and hope for some food. The trail runs from east to west, leaving you with little choice where to go. You also notice a small path leading to the north. Had ashandra had force field up it wouldn't have happened. Good read though. I dunno what your lore is dace but might wanna try incorporating it. Link to comment

No offense to anyone, but it's bad plays like this one that give the impression that mages are weak. Give this battlemage to someone like @Chesta6384, @H&R or @Erelei and Dace would have been destroyed with the BMG not going down bellow 90% HP. The only thing that made this log not a complete stomp for the warrior was, that Dace himself didn't play very well too. PS. Nice editting Dace, I love reading your logs. I believe we all are playing this game for two major ideas: 1. Have fun. 2. Improve yourself. The main reason I am posting logs here is not to show how great I am by killing someone with 3 bashed for example, but to post interesting logs when something can be discussed, fixed, improved and you guys to read. That is why we are society in this forum to help each other, correct? This is exactly why I've posted it, I've learned a bit from every single mistake I've did, people from forum gives advices as well and if someone watching the logs can improve his/her gameplay as well, then this is great. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE criticism, but when it is constructiive - telling someone he/she is bad does not helps anyone, but telling him WHY he/she is bad and WHAT can improve, then this is something completely different. No missile shield because I havent had time to pick up a lot of them, and honestly wasn't going to bother till I got reverse time. Skills fall. Because..skills fall. Did you really just complain at a new bmg player, because a skill fell... No ref shield because I was testing out meteor swarm. Specifically. Bites that I lost the force field in the mix. But I was having fun. I never thunder clapped myself. Really. That's some weird bug. Indint know why he saw that message. Sadly I closed my client on accident when I got back. But i did look over the log right after the fight. Nowhere on my end does it say that. Nobody asked you for your advice. Nobody wants it. At what point does the staff actually reprimand someone for being rude as hell for no reason. His post was uncalled for, a personal attack. And not productive at all. Nobody said mages are weak, nobody was complaining. It was a fun fight. You should have used reflective shield. Also appears no plumbum manus, no rusting, I don't know what his offhand whip was but you should have attempted a disarm after the blind. And when he cured the blind you never attempted it again. Use locate object to your advantage with regard to blind. If your AC is high enough, and I imagine it is, forget force field unless you want to use meteors. Use reflective + enlarge unless there's a reason not to. Even if your opponent uses magic weapons, I'd start with reflective+enlarge and change up if necessary. I'm also not sure I saw any field-dressing there but we couldn't see your condition in the beginning. When you found him at elemental, you should have been pretty close to full health based on his damage output at that point. Link to comment

Asking for a reprimand? C'mon, we are not in kindergarten here. I did not see him personally attack anyone, where are these supposed attacks? He said the battlemage is bad, that is NOT a personal attack. It is an observation based on information presented. Yes it came off a little condescending, but he also offered plenty of good advice, it's just his tone could be more kind. And yes, people are CONSTANTLY saying how weak mages are, especially bmgs, so f0xx is right that logs like these may support that narrative whereas in this case it is the piles of mistakes that make the class look weaker than it is. I have to admit Fox does come across a little harsh, but I find often times in life the ones that know the most seem to have less care for empathy and more care for truth and if we can put aside our feelings we can learn from people like Foxx.
