f0xx
Sekiro the game. Has anyone played it? Beta versions or something? It looks very interesting.
Imoutgoodbye
Looks a lot like the Onimusha games I used to play, but on steroids. I'd definitely give that a go.
Manual Labour
Looks like every other hack'n'slash from the last 10 years. Graphics alone simply don't impress me. Maybe there is more to this game than meets the eye but from this trailer I am not impressed.
egreir
Nioh and Bloodborne has a baby?
Mmm Coffee
Dark Souls/Bloodborne creative team was involved here so there's obvious parallels. Definitely a play for me but I'll wait until it goes on sale on PSN since it's a single player game.
'tarako
It's feudal Japan dark souls. If you enjoyed those games this is for you. If you didn't play them, you're gonna die alot

'tarako
Wolfenstein isn't the same level as dark souls lol. Sekiro is good
Lawless
Sekiro looks good and beatable, unlike bloodborne. Also ended my life over that game.
Kyzarius
Bloodborne was so good. When you got furthur you felt the progress. Man I hated when it ended.

Kyzarius
There is a point when you first start seeing the madness. And you are pretty far from a checkpoint. Go around a corner near this house and there's 2 buff ass dudes that are like mini bosses that rush you so hard. Lightning everywhere lol. I never fought so hard. Was great. f0xx
From all the reviews I've read, they say the biggest mistake people make when playing Sekiro is thinking that it's like Dark Souls. They say the progression is very different from it. No idea how it actually is. I haven't played Dark Souls either.
Unknown Brother
I've loved all of the 'soulsborne' games. Sekiro is on the same level. There are enough noticeable differences to it to make it something of its own though. There's no customizable character, no equipment to gather and dying is much more forgiving. That being said, the combat is at a much faster pace and requires quite a lot of focus to progress. Thankfully it has something that I loved in all the games before. It's hard, but it's fair. If you died, it's because YOU fucked up, not the game setting roadblocks to fuck you, they feel like well-placed skill checks. You'll hit a wall with most bosses which takes you 10-15 times to actually kill it and the feeling you get once you actually do is the reason I play these games. The rush of euphoria is like nothing else... Minus landing the kill on a big bad in FL. Edit: If you want a samurai game that is closer to the darksouls mechanics, Nioh is phenomenal.
