I was trying to get at Gordy, since he was flagged, I came across Narifel and Gordy between the interns and the experiment.

Any tips would be welcome.

I think the most obvious is the fact I didn't use missile immunity. After reviewing the log, I also noticed I had no windmill or didn't use berserk in the final few rounds which, alongside the missile scroll, may have helped balance out that final melee.

Definitely my mal saves have taken a hit in the past week. But isn't there some mechanic that the higher the saves you have the more you'll be affected by deteriorate?

Lots of people have attacked groups with some degree of success in the past. Thought I'd give it a crack and try my luck. Also some reason I didn't think you could recall from that part of the blissful falls, that was another mistake of mine.

To some degree, that is true.  The best advice I can give you is carry a few non-rare items and at least one rare that covers the saves you may need to swap out.  In doing this, you can fight a shaman with mal saves in high 30's (for example) and see how they approach the fight.  If shaman goes right for deteriorate, flee and swap out your saves items.  If they go for mals right away and they're landing, get out of there.  Play around with the numbers until you feel you have the right balance and still have the ability to stack more.  Mote of tides, the necklace from Willow palm, chieftain's warpaint, plagueward rings - have those things ready.  I know you're limited on rares you can use so you'll have to figure that part out.

1. Attacking the group seemed like your worst mistake. Individually you probably would have done better.

2. Patience. If you had waited in the southern hall, it occurs to me you could have "driven" one of them into the intern room north of the caretaker. The small group would not have had time to eliminate all the interns and make it back to the southern hall, they would have been in a hurry. Know your battleground.

3. Never take an old fools advice in PK. ;)

Honestly I feel like the battleground was ok, but you just overstayed while lotus scourged you used to be a paladin. So investing in even a single Tuo scroll here could have likely been a win. On a side note I really enjoy the fact you pushed a group aggressively in aggressively in a place that doesn't favor a 2 v1 vs opponents that really shine in a 2v1 (not saying they gang or anything, just the skillset of a shaman and ninja is very solid vs a class without blind fighting) kudos to you.

What does a tuo scroll do?

Some crusaders have blind fighting, not saying whether I do or not, but it is a choice saders have

I still think between missile scroll would have prevented 9 shots, averaging at 25 - 50 hp. Minimally that would have been 225 hp, plus berserk would have been an extra 100. Maybe it would have been enough. Maybe not.

Having windmill running would have maybe softened him up just a little bit extra too.

There was also the decision do I go in with blood guard or use crusade? No idea what crusade does, except reward upon kill or capture. The blood guard is kind of hard to deny though, but then I can't use windmill or impale.

Get a better average damage  weapon. I suggest you to bump STR to 19 and acquire the carpenter hammer from that same zone. Do your stuff and then chose the stuff that lower or adds the less weight, so you can keep it 18 STR or less.
Choosing a polearm is definitively the best strategy for the class selections you have made.

Get more consumables. Like Magick said you can get Tuo scroll of healing, although I would not. Because it's rare.
Hoard nymph heart inside a quiver. They aren't rare.
There are sold consumables that cure poison and plague. They cure on low %, so you need to get lots of them inside quivers. Perhaps one of each.
Always have missile shield vs a fired weapons class. The added damage is insane, it can be sometimes 50% of the damage taken during the fight, since they have a hard time to hit you.
Always crusade. You get a lot of bonus from it.
Always have Windmill on in PK. Never have it on in city grounds.
Get scrolls of bless from Blackwatch. Always fight with those.
Protection always during PK. Get a pill to prevent having to flee.

From your misses vs Gordy, you might need a bit more of hitroll.

If you can, seek the Psalm of Purity. No idea if you are a Psalm master, but if you are, test this Psalm. Also learn about the Psalm of Baptism and it's penalties. Ask the imms if you don't understand. Psalm master is always the best choice for your first crusaders. A shame it's not on the help file.

Don't count on Rush to lock people in place as a non enlarged giant.

Get detect magic and use it in PK.

You got 61 lives, use them all.

Even if I was able to bring the weight down to 18 for the carpteners hammer, the moment Gordy nerved and poisoned me. I would have dropped it. With the option I have now, I could be poisoned, weakened, plagued and still no drop my weapon. I think its a good the next best thing. The average is 26, but its just the price I had to pay for playing non giant.

Can barely keep a glimmering staff. the scroll is cool, never knew about it. Might use them on future characters.

Temple healers can barely cure lotus poison, I could imagine some level 15 cure poison consumable would offer nothing but headache and loss of time while they are just uber regening. Shaman is casting at a high level to, doubt disease will be cured easily either by low level consumables either. In my recent fight, I used 10 gyvels and failed each of them. So I'm not optimistic about that option. 

I agree with missile shield.

I guess crusade is the answer, the benefits are cryptic though.  The blood guard seems to be the core element of being in Tribunal, but I can't barely can use it.

Agree with windmill, I should have had that up.

I use the tattered scrolls often.

I'm clearly not psalm master, since I'm beheading.  Therefore using Purity or any other escape psalms means I'm not be able to use divine attacks, seems key against undead to exploit the vuln.

I use enlarge as much as I can.

I use detect magic as often as possible.

I don't have 61 lives, I think I've probably got 7 or 8 left. Hardcore life.

Better off just using a black watch sword.

Offers better stats, same average, non rare and you can just make it two handed.

I think its lower item level too, so you could even get some enchants on it for some extra hit n dam. I think it got toned recently and lost its curse flag, so it can be disarmed to the floor now.

A low chance is better than no chance.

THAC0, it's a rogue class (-4 ish) vs a warrior class (-10 ish).  Hit/dam is a straight modifier, so you'll obviously need more from a rogue than a warrior against the same AC.

The level of the Blackwatch sword was raised to L40.  Still fairly easy to enchant.  Yes, it lost the nodrop flag and the bless flag.
Speaking of bless, get either the Blackwatch sword or the fauchard (1h spear) from Miruvhor and bless them at your cabal.  Should be 200cp for the former, 150 for the latter.  Do that to like 10 of them.  Stick then in a quiver for if they're disarmed.
