Ok, hate to say it but i haven't been on in about a billion years cause my computer mal functioned and self deleted itself. Stupid computer! (ok it was my fault being a moron and deleting a windows file required for start up, but the computer shouldn't have let me do it!) so i say again STUPID COMPUTER!.

Anyways back to my topic... I would like a FREE version of Zmud v5.55 if possible does anyone have a setup for it on their computer... i love you long time. Well hell, any free zmud besides the one they give off zuggsoft (Doesn't work with my windows XP for some dumbass reason).

Thanks alot all you out there and hope to see you in about two weeks (upcoming test and a week vacation in Florida).

Your favorite man to hate,

Baby hippo.

p.s. If you must, and i would completely understand, edit this for purpose of me being just plain retarded.

Maybe you should give GMud and Mushclient a try, their lastest version is just as good as the old Zmud which in my opinion is a little buggy. If you would like to load up your old ZMud configs, I strongly suggest buying CMud. The thirty bucks is money well spent in my opinion. Heck its the ONLY reason I still have windows on my machine.

Is it Acerbity that uses telnet?

You must be either sick and in need of medical attention, or supremely gifted, to use telnet. You can't even see what you're typing in telnet, and when you try to backspace, something like ^% appears! :D:o

I use telnet while using an 'aterm' linux terminal. I can see what I'm typing, but I can't see what I'm deleting if someone talks, sleeps, drinks, echos something, etc, because it all goes up to the next line and re-echo's what's in the room to me. So it ends up looking like I'm deleting my prompt ;)

For the most part, the only thing wrong with using telnet is misstyping, trying to delete what you misstyped, (without deleting what you typed right while someone else keeps emoting/pmoting) and making up words like, "Kkknow" or "HUh?, Whhat diid yu say?".

Otherwise, it's fast and efficient. :)

Go to www.dogpile.com type in "zMUD 5.55" It will take you 5 minutes to search through a couple web sites to find it. Most sites are inactive, but there are definitely like 4 out there that i've used.

I agree. zMUD 5.55 is the best.

I actually do have the zmud.exe file, so if you know a good fun way I can send it to you then go ahead and PM me with it.
