Now that the fox is out of the hen house and all my chickens have flocked.  I'll expect some time rp to start kicking off with my mages.  #makesavanatgreatagain.  Time is such a difficult thing to RP, however, it leaves the possibilities endless.  Let's cook off some ideas here of what people think the Time-stream and savant correlate.  This isn't a debate, purely sharing of ideas.

Honestly the entire concept of time magic is a mentally exhausting subject. It's the only thing that is limited only by what you can imagine. Personally I feel like savant needs more flat out weird mages. Eintsteins, and Teslas

Isn't temporum about time and mysterum about multiple universes and different dimensions? 

Maybe try the different dimension angle more instead of focusing on the time side. 

Also the schism isn't engaging, I'd ditch that if you haven't already. 

Focusing around the lore of how the tower was sealed for eons and only just reopened relatively recently could be interesting, as some kind of mystic defenders of the realm ala Dr Strange. Some unseen threat forced them to open up again and recruit against some time ending catastrophe.

I always thought of "new" Savant as less mages wanting to perfect magic, but mages exploring new avenues to gain new magics. Dipping into the Timestream to learn magics from the past or future, or different parallel universes to learn new techniques or schools of thought.

The Timestream can open up new possibilities for RP...

And even lead to the eventual "revamping" of abilities or gear. *gasp*

Just a suggestion toward the topic.

Savant is coming out of a long phase of quiet halls. If I were one of your followers, I would focus on developing recruitment ideas that prevent a repeat of recent history. As time watchers, one would think they would be trying to spread influence to this end.

Just a thought.

Temp definitely has the best all around offensive mage kit in the game.

If I remember right, Volgathras originally created the schism. I remember it being a big piece in the RP plot that was happening with Volg, Thulgan, and Ekhurift.

Well one thing maybe have the time-stream "rupture" , opens up portals randomly around the lands, because of a freak experiment gone wrong and let's loose all these things from the past into our present. And the savants have to mend it. I think that would tie in nicely with what's going on now. 

Though I am surprised I havent seen am rp plot where all the cabals powers get drained from the misuse of the time-stream by the savants where they are siphoning the power from the past which is affecting the cabals of the future. Or something like that.
