What I noticed through out the log that caught me as "Off" was skill spamming. Couldn't this lag you out? What happens if something goes wrong after the first rush and you need to book it out? Wouldn't you need to go through all those rushes to then flee? Special Note: I could be wrong? EDIT: Also - If you want advice, I would mentioned that to start the LOG. There are some people who post just to post the log and are not looking for advice. That may help to shape the responses. Aticas, I remember when you were the person with dozens of threads asking for help and tips. I'm not sure why now you feel the need to be that way to someone else asking. I believe you got quality responses when you asked for help. Even in your "Help" response it feels really condescending... 😐 Just a thought. hotspring monkey Posted July 26, 2019 Report Share Posted July 26, 2019 You can spam for some time, till it lags you. Some classes need the opener and thus spam their key skill to get it in. It is nothing new. But something I'd like to get changed somehow maybe. Lag for inserting command prematurely? It will get you killed. Too harsh. Like if you lead commands in fight. Unfair for people playing from half world away. Ping matters. Link to comment

But the rush may not have been if she missed or her sanc dropped. But she was already controlling the battle via rush so it mitigated the risks. Link to comment

As others believe spamming an opener is fine usually, just not like rush bash ect. As for akoz, I remember posting logs of me being 3 rounded. Not defeating decked trusted syndis, like in my og post I said you can learn alot more or it's alot more clear from a loss log Link to comment
Anonymous Posted July 26, 2019 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2019 I actually do overspam rush from time to time (it actually got me killed on a previous character), and it is something I am trying to keep in mind. The only time I intentially insert multiple rushes is when I am trying to maintain a laglock. It's probably a terrible way of doing combat (should just wait a round and a half before inserting the next command in case something happens in the meantime). Behead I need to spam to open combat, and I spam it since I have pretty bad ping and would never connect it if I used the command when my target walked into the room. - Leilana Anonymous poster hash: 81a42...568 Link to comment

For example if I spam "Kick", then flee, it would "Kick" four times (including lag of skill) and then I could flee. :shrug: not sure. Makes sense on that since you can officially "Open" combat while in combat and will only get a message stating that. Link to comment

The two after will be "part of combat" and will lag the user as they will be part of the combat after the initial lag for the skill wears out. Edit: but some skills are safe to spam. -Dirt kick -behead -and some others. Link to comment
Tempirion Posted July 26, 2019 Report Share Posted July 26, 2019 Behead is a skill that will only fire once and you'll get a no lag message that the skill can't be used again. It's on a cooldown once procced and also only usable to open. Rush however will lag you as many times as you spam it in combat Link to comment
