brsingr
has anybody, excluding imms, been the ONLY person on the MUD?
Sirax
Yep happened a few times with me, I miss it was a great chance to prepare for the fiend hours.
Warpnow
I have, after a crash, been the only mort char on. Prolly was a wizi'd imm, though. I have, quite a few times, been the only lvl 50 on.
J.Twendrist
I've been the only one on once or twice.
One Way Up
Yeah, I have. It's kinda like the feeling of walking out into a street in your town during a quiet, snowy night. Can't hear a single thing, and it's kind of peaceful. Except, in RL, you wouldn't be thinking of all the nice shiny things just beckoning you, since you're the only one around. "The world is MY oyster, now, baby" is what's usually going through my head until I match 2 of 2 on my who list, and they ruin the ride.

Hegemon
Yes, but the who who pk who g wher twitch twitch paranoia means you are still keeping watch, for possible hidden/camo bushwacking and it's pretty much the same thing. Can't relax for a moment, that's how they get you.
Hegemon
Edit: Sorry about that, I double posted. Well, I guess I may as well not make this a complete waste of a post. I never ever feel secure playing this game. There are too many combos, too many situations, too much danger for any single character to be able to "relax". One Way Up
Lol, I caught myself in a state of paranoia the other day. I was only matching 3 of 3 on, myself being pinnacle, and the only other two on were below 15. Going in between towns, I still caught myself hitting where ever 5 seconds, and popping into areas along the way and seeing who was in them, out of sheer habit. Fiere
Oh man, so true. I've definitely got the constant twitch thing going on, even if there's nobody in my pk range.
Magick
When you're right, paranoia is just good thinking.

Why should you be paranoid? I've had my arch-nemesis log on in the room I was in. Except for on my monks and blademasters, I have a trigger that does "whe pk" every 20-30 seconds.
