Church cabal

It's a slippery slope Egreir. First you say I'll only roll up the character I wont actually play it.

Then it turns into alright just to 15 just to scratch that itch, but I wont write a description.

Then its I'll just dcheck and get to 30 I'll delete by then.

Next thing you know, you've wrote 10 journals a history that utilizes a completely made up language that you've designed and paid special care to know your character only speaks a very specific dialect of said language. Then you find yourself leveling an elf cleric thinking I need to go healer and herald, it is at this point you will question your life choices..... Or so a friend has told me.

Well if you were playing the game a while ago, there was a nice IG note introducing the Leader to the Cabal, but outside of Wynnethan, there's no one in the Cabal. It seems interesting based on the RP and the premise, but outside of that, you'd really have to just jump IG to play and see what it's all about. You can go full on annoying like Wynnethan does with the whole, "May the One Guide you." sort of thing from time to time, but it's almost like the plots lately only get partially seen through and not full completed. I'm still wondering what happened to the whole Champions of the Death Religion and such. I heard they were selected, but then they're gone. Maybe it's just because I wasn't playing as much at that point in time that I missed a large chunk. I'm not sure.

They get at least one spell if I recall correctly. Embrace of the One I think is what was spell was used on me by Natessa at least and it lasted like over 600 IG hours. Though I managed to somehow negate it at some point only about 100 ticks after getting it. Not sure how because my client doesn't let me create logs on the latest laptop for some reason, but I think it had something to do with Camp. Outside of that though I have no idea. As far as the Cabal itself I can't comment on either, but I figured once they finally built a Temple in Maelbrim it would be placed there somewhere along with possible Gear and such. I'm intrigued by it, but I only see Wynnethan on once in a blue moon on the character I was hoping to join it with, and I've never seen the FG DK online.

Betcha he says on the list is Mysterium (which I don't think is quite that bad), and Savant gear. Which maybe could use some love.

I think the common misconception is that Mysterum isn't bad because the skills themselves aren't that bad. The problem is that it offers almost zero benefit to fighting against your primary cabal enemy. Mysterum as it is, as a Knight Subcabal could potentially be amazing.

An example to illuminate my feelings on this would be like granting Sigil skills that give them protection from good and defenses against Watcher. Both of these could be useful in other cabals, but as a Knight you wouldn't really use them that much.
