Wathok
Guy with Magnum vs Guy with Power Saw (Cordless). Who would win? Don't bother debating. Just vote!
Designated_Driver
Magnum user would win, but he'd be fatally wounded.
KRins
Ummm... Considering the effective range of magnums are infinately greater than the effective range of a power saw (btw who would get into a fight with a power saw?) I'm going to have to give the magnum the nod.
Sirax
Guy with Magnum would win unless of course the magnum you are refering to is the ice cream then things could get very messy.
Psycho Child
Magnum P.I. totaly. He needs a better car though.
Fiere
Cordless power for the win. There's a reason it's got "power" in the title. Plus, it's got more style.
Unknown Brother
If Revolver Ocelot had the Magnum, powersaw guy would go down. But if it was Ash from Dawn of the Dead that had the cordless powersaw the Magnum has no chance, because hes just that cool.
EyeSeeU
I have a question here... firstly would it be a duel? Like go back to back and walk lets say 10 paces maybe 20. If that was the case then both would loose. The guy with the magnum would shoot the guy with the saw but only after the guy with the saw threw it at the guy with the magnum... hopefully the saw blade would still be going fast enough to do some damage. And depending on how accurate the magnum shooter is Id say the power saw guy would have a giant sized hole at or around his upper torso. As for the magnum shooter he would be heavily damaged perhaps like a ogre berserker snapping out of rage stunned but probably will recover if he has an elf healer standing by his side prepared to go co 'heal' co 'heal':p
Belegriel
LOL, duel at 10 paces b/w magnums and powersaws with zerks and healers....we've crossed an estranged boundary here.

Deykari
I like how you're all assuming that the guy with the magnum has the 'fired weapons' skill. Dey
mya
This is a stupid question. The Magnun (handgun) will always have advantage (unless its a grapling contest). Even at 3 meter, or throwing range all the magnun person has to do is move backwards and fire his gun. First hit will drop the other guy, second hit will headshot him. Magick
The magnum will not always have the advantage. I know of several people that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if it were pressed against the barrel. Needless to say that if I had to take them into combat with me, I'd be in a different country. As for the whole 'move backwards and fire,' all the person with the saw has to do is 'move forward and swing.' So with that said, which one is sleeping? I'd choose the awake one to win. KRins
Here's a little something else, since we are talking about my favorite subject: firearms. Magnums are designed to take people completely off their feet, do huge damage to internal tissues, and blow your back completely out. All of these things would lead to nearly instantaneous shock. Power saw, regardless of it they are portable or not, generally only cut with one edge. Now, if you are talking about a chain saw, the blade would have stopped well before it hit your target at 3 meters. Since they cut with the bottom, tip, and top of the chain it would be your best option in the saw department. This all leaves out how the back end of the saw is heavier, filled with a fluid that would slosh around and change the trajectory, and was not designed to be thrown so it would be insanely inaccurate. Side note: If you throw your saw and miss. I have a magnum, I could step over your saw and close to the saw's effective range (maybe 3 to 4 feet) and blow you away from pointe blank. Guns win every single time, if they were both aware of the oncoming attack and had used the two things (notice how I did not say weapons) before to any extent. Sirax
Nice detailed description, where can I get a magnum . Sucks to live in uk what if i send you some money and you mail me a magnum and some bullets , you reckon it will make it here . Though not to derail the post but man theres a lot of gun crime in uk now. Before you would just get stabbed in the head or heart, now you get shot by a well of gunman with an decent weapon or you get your nose blown of by some reactivated luger (sp). Bring back swords and shields if you ask me, do away with the pussy ****.
Psycho Child
Lets assume both contestants start out at oppsite ends of a large dark abandoned hospital from the 40's. Who would win would depend alot on the skill of the people with the items in question, but either way it would make a hell of a movie.
Chayesh
Oh course, the dominance of said Magnum would be what caliber magnum are we talking about... .357 Magnum....oh hell yes. .22 Magnum...You might do more damage throwing the gun at him than shooting him.
