brsingr
I have been away from my GF for 4 months now, and I really miss her. Talk to her on the phone everyday. does this make me needy? I dunno, I was just wondering if this was just me, or normal.
brsingr
you know what just came to mind? I REALLY hope i'm never sent to iraq or somewhere else. I'd be really F-ed up.
KRins
Talking to someone everyday and missing them after 4 months is pretty normal. Now if you happen to be calling every hour of every day just to "check in", then you are needy. You are perfectly normal until the actions you take would not be made by a rational person in the same cultural setting.
brsingr
oh, I just call at around 7:00 every day, If she dont pick up, i try again in 30 minutes. after that, I drop it. EDIT: Is it wrong to like your best friend's sister more than your girlfriend?

brsingr
I thought so, but I pretty much loved her since the first time I saw her. (friend's sister.) I've always been really polite and nice to her, and she likes me too, but her brother knows me way too well (or thinks he does, I would never to anything innappropriate with/to her.) he refuses to let me go out with her. He really has no authority, but I respect him and his sister way to much to do it anyways. My GF came after the fact, i liked his sister first. KRins
Nothing at all wrong with that, as physical attraction is a complex series of chemical interactions. You should probably make such things known to all parties involved or you are stuck in a fake relationship while you are constantly suffering at the thought/sight/smell/whatever of your friend's sister. Before you do all of this though, you should probably read the Man Code. Google it. It will change your life.
brsingr
not even just physical attraction (although she is sexy), I mean, I like her personality and stuff, too.
Unknown Brother
Well Brsingr. I belive that all or most men always want what they can't have in a relationship. I had a great girlfriend over a year ago. She would make me cake, suprise me with coke(the drink, I was damn addicted to the stuff) I got along great with her, but as things went on my eyes started to wander. I knew this other chick friend for some time, nothing really intrested me in her untill one night we really started talking. Well, I moved in with her about a week later because her mother loved me and I was not doing so well at home. I was still dating my g/f of over a year and living with this whore...Needless to say it didnt end well. After it was all said and done I realized I lost and hurt a great girl for some skanky trash that I still don't feel clean about. Before you make a move on pure lust or whatever, really think it over.
brsingr
the man code, eh? just read the whole thing. I'm cool with everything but rule #1. **** rule #1. unknown brother, this isn't just lust. It hurts every moment I am not seeing or talking to her. I've been thinking about her ALL summer. the first thing I'm going to do when I return to TX? visit her. hopefully spend the night. EDIT: Then again, I do actually hope to marry her 1. If you've known a guy for more than 24 hours, his sister is off limits forever! Unless you actually marry her.
elfdude
screw that dude, long distance relationships don't work. stop that **** right now brosef, talk to your bro and ask him about his sister, if hes not cool with it forget that and find another girlie. brsingr
Long distance?? she lives seven miles away from me. I am just visiting my dad in GA for the summer. BTW, I can ride 7 miles on my bike in 7 minutes. And I cant just "find another girlie", I mean, I cant even sleep sometimes. She is all I think about. (probably why I failed my tests this year. I did fine last year, but she wasn't in any of my classes.although I DID know her.) I might be in love, never felt this way before. Well, I have , but never to this extent. Magick
screw that dude' date=' long distance relationships don't work. stop that **** right now[/quote']Not always true. Got back together with my fiancee last April and things have been working out quite well. If it weren't for unforseen red tape, I'd have been married last month but it's going to wait til 6 June 2007. If you're wondering how 'long distance' it is, she's about 4500 air miles from me. Denver (US) to London (UK). Needless to say it's difficult to 'pop over' for the weekend. We talk on the phone twice a week on my days off for a couple of hours at a time, and email the rest of the week.
