brsingr
I'm not like... here's $10, cuz you're hot. I did that to this girl named darby before, only it was $1 and maybe once every two weeks. "can I have a dollar?" "yes, but only because you're hot." that was a while ago

Deykari
Yea, absolute dicks usually have the ladies, but that's because a lot of dicks possess qualities that they find attractive, (regardless of the flaws that a lot of dicks have ) as opposed to Mister Nice Guy. It's possible to possess those qualities and not be a dick. Dey

Marc
Although I would say that most of these guys' advice is great. (I <3 you crypticant) It would probably be better to get advice from someone you know and trust, and who knows you. Rather than from the forsaken lands players forum. Warpnow
****, you mean I shouldn't have taken out 100k loan to put on the roulette table's 00 because Bali told me I should? Heh, its not that he shouldn't take the advice of people on the forum, he just has to take it for what it is. And even if some people are right about this and dating his friend's sister is a mistake(which is what my opinnion would be , because I honor the man code) there are some mistakes I believe you have to make yourself or you'll just be damn ignorant to the true lesson behind them. Nympha
Ok, this WHOLE post had me cracking up for soooooooo long. First off. 14 is TOOOOOO young to be dating! I didnt start dating until I was 16! 12 -15 is waaaay to young to be dating or thinking about marriage. ENJOY life, dont look for ways to DESTROY it! Crypti. You had me crackin up most of all. Most of your stuff was right on but the rest! So I will pick it apart and make fun of it! 1) Women spend more on clothing. Women's clothes are just flat more expensive than men's. It's the way it is. And women have a lot more clothes than men. Shoes and underwear included. I own three or four pair of pants about six or seven shirts(I love shirts) three pair of shoes. That is my wardrobe. I -hate- shopping! So I rarely shop. 2) Women have makeup. Fingernail polish (apparently a minimum of 30 bottles is "necessary"). "Feminine products". More hair stuff than you can imagine. Shampoo. Conditioner. Hot oil. Colorant. Men have soap. Maybe a bottle of shampoo. What -little- make up I do own, I was given for b-day presents or christmas presents. I do not wear make up save for job interviews and -very- little at that! I do not own any finger nail polish. I make do with a pair of nail clippers and a nail file. Only "special" thing I have is medicated shampoo and conditioner which I buy every six months to a year which costs 50.00 normally. Don't colour my hair, don't style it. I get it trimmed or cut every so often. 3) Most women don't change their own oil, fix their own computer, build their own furniture, or haggle with pawnbrokers for a cheap TV. Nearly all men do. I'll give you the fact you said "most" I change my own oil, most of the time fix my own computer blah blah... 4) A woman is not complete unless she has magazine subscriptions. At least one. Generally more. I do not nor ever had a magazine subscription. My ex husband had four! 5) A man can subsist off of an extra large pizza for up to two weeks. All the men I known will eat that in two days max, will last me as long as I want it to. Freezer is awesome. 6) Men will drink the cheapest beer available if necessary. If we can't afford it, we will find a way to make our own. Or you can be extra cheap and NOT drink! But yes, I do drink extremely cheap beer or I do not drink at all. 7) Men don't need curtains. We also don't need photographs, carpet, clean furniture, soft toilet paper or hot water. Historically, we have made due with what we have. Muahaha. No curtains(no windows that need them) I am horrible with photographs, I just let my parents take them all. Proven every single one of your points either partially or completely wrong when it comes to this woman. Yet I have NO problems hooking up with or getting a man to date. And yes, I do have myself a top quality man right now. Brisngr, do not worry about women. I will say this so all can hear. I have maybe THREE female friends because I find that most women are backstabbing lieing b****es from hell. Give yourself a few years to get to know who YOU are before already having a woman try to make you what THEY want you to be. Yes, we do that. We take a man and make them what we want them to be. You are too young to have that happen since you have not yet taken the time you need to figure out who you are before letting them change you! It is good however to have goals to wait until marriage. I had those goals and if it were not for some run ins with people who ended up in jail for taking that from me, I would have kept my priorities just like I wanted them. I am not the best person to give advice most would say because I am 23(in less than a week) I have two kids, am working on getting divorced, but I say that I am best to give advice -because- of this. I do know a little of the good and the bad. I do know what I am talking about.

EyeSeeU
The man code is null/void if you want to date your friends sister when, She is totally slammin, you actually want to be in a "serious" relationship and not just have some weekend fling.
Warpnow
Yes, but he's not old enough for a "serious relationship", neither am I. The chances of it becoming a fling far outweigh the odds of it becoming serious and staying serious. The man code is only void if they get married. a-guitarist
Bah, to hell with it, man. 14 isn't too young, neither is 15. If you feel it's right for you, and it feels right (not physically, but emotionally/personally), go for it. If it ends horribly, at least you had a good time, at least you have some experience under your belt (not physical, but emotional) and at least you won't be wondering what it was like or could have been like. A sexual relationship, on the other hand, is probably to early for you now. And, if I read the whole thread right, it isn't your goal at this stage of the game. I appluad you for that. But always remember, when it comes to that, it is a wonderful, personal thing if you wait for the right time. a-g

No, you didn't really disprove my points so much as you made your own point that you're not like most women, as you claimed. In fact, based on the post, your behavior seems far more "manlike". Which may explain the ex-husband. No offense.
