kahlos
Nice topic! I get the rush everytime I brandish my glimmering staff and head off towards a character who I know is buff and will be tough.. I get superbly rushed if it's a thief who have just blackjacked and thieved me and runs away. Best rush though is when you see these: You sure are BLEEDING! You sure are BLEEDING! You sure are BLEEDING!
Ex-D&Der
Sometimes I get it so much that heart is thumping and my hands are shaking. Other times, nothing. I'm not sure what causes it.
Grishnak
Having not played in a while, I'm sure I'd have it like a heroin addict in pretty much any fight. When I'm "on my game," though, I normally only get rushes like that when fighting two or more opponents or when utterly surprised because I know that I can most likely survive if not win in any other situation. Pieman
Seriously, I still get it every time, and if I stop getting it, I'll probably quit playing.
Tantangel
I've calmed down a lot in PK situations from when I first started. I don't really start to get nervous until I see huge damage being dealt to me because then I know I'll probably end up dying unless I can get away. Now if I know someone is coming, I usually just run off a little, prepare and come back swinging and the shaking begins after they've fled/recalled or whatever. As for in PK I got it down to a minimum, it used to be if I saw someone coming my heart would start beating quickly and everything else would just go down hill. A good startle is what everyone could use from time to time though, I enjoy it when it happens as long as I can keep a cool head about things. EyeSeeU
I get it aswell and I still cannot calm myself after all these years. I do enjoy shaking out of control sometimes to the point where your fingers hit random keys while your fighting.
KRins
I pretty much have to leave my computer and get a drink or something after a PK where I am able to do anything. So I guess I get my heart rate up, like 1 in 10 fights. Also if I am running blind my heart rate gets up because I know the infamous Alas you cannot go that way message will mean the end of me. Pali
I've been getting it lately since I haven't played in a while and I'm still getting back into the game... after a while, though, it'll fade, I'm sure.
