EtsoShex
I was wondering what everyone's favorite movies were. Just got Netflix, and I'm looking for suggestions. Give me your favorite movie and why, maybe?
elfdude
Labyrinth, the big lembowski and lock stock and two smoking barrels. Just get them, they are all awesome.

Balgashang
Troy, the speech before they storm the beaches makes me want to charge into battle, and I'm fat and lazy...plus a couple of good fight scenes. Black Hawk Down, a good movie, from my understanfing, fairly true to life. LOTR, tricksies hobbitses, need I say more? Plus good fight scenes, sometimes long and boring, suggest rollin a phatty for those three. Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Kevin Smith is a genius. The Quiet Man/Mclintock, I grew up on John Wayne, he's the man. Conan the Barbarian/Destroyer/Red Sonya, ok so the last two are kinda bad, but still good, and from the Barbarian, you get the best lines of all time.... (old asian man asking young asian man) What is best in life? (young asian man) Riding on the open plains, the wind in your hair, and the falcon on your wrist. (old asian man) Wrong. Conan, what is best in life? (Conan) To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women. I'll add more as I think of them. Thought of a few more, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, House of the Flying Daggers, Hero, Iron Monkey, *Kung Fu Hustle* Ten Things I Hate About You :shifty eyes: (its a modern day version of Taming of the Shrew, but still a good movie....) Maventiem
Spiderman 1 and 2 Princess Bride Hero (Intersting approach to the movie, I enjoyed it.) Saw 1 and 2 Little Monsters (Such a classic from my youth.) The Black Knight (Martin Lawrence, need I say more?) Bad Boys 1 and 2 (Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, need I say more?) I, Robot King Arthur Kung Pow (A movie I've seen over and over and it's funny each time. " You killed my family, I don't like that sort of thing. ") I'll post more as I think of 'em. More to come as I think of them. ps (John Wayne rocks!)
Balgashang
Might as well throw in Gladiator, Excaliber was a great movie for its time as well, and has a special place in my heart lol. Lord of War is fairly new and good, Everything is Illuminated...Blow, Friday (the rest are kinda stupid) Dazed and Confused, Fast Times at Ridgemount High, Twins, Predator, Alien, Bram Stoker's Dracula (I think Keenu Reeves ruins it with his acting, but the rest of its good) Any old school dracula with Bela Lagosi(sp?) Platoon, Hamburger Hill, Braveheart, Silence of the Lambs, Manhunter, Lord of the Flies, Apocolypse Now.

CruelEdict
Though crude, Clerks is great. Though my favorite movie currently is The Road Warrior, a wee bit dated, but still a brilliant movie.
