elfdude
Don't condoms come with instructions on the back? This is what I was thinking exactly, the poster made it even funnier.
Iusedtobesomebody
if you can't take it off without instructions, you have no right to wear it. on second thought, wear it. don't pass along those genes.

Warpnow
Nice thing about Mcafee is it detects virus's even when its not scanning. You may wake up one day and it has found 3 or 4 trojans you didn't even know were there. Or you could be browsing a site and it could find one. Its really nice. Not to mention Quicklean is a neat program and it comes with Mcafee shredder which PERMANENTLY deletes files, unlike the BS windows recycle/delete is. And it also comes with its own antispyware scanner which is nice.
Zrothum
People, people, people..... www.my-etrust.com/microsoft Free year of antivirus protection (this is one of the best programs in the industry) The trial runs out and they want you to buy...... WRONG make a new email account (free yahoo account works) download a new copy via the new email address voila lifetime of uber good antivirus protection then download Spybot S and D.....bam, malware gone Then download Adaware....bam, adaware gone. Turn on Windows Firewall (its a microsoft product but its not actually ALL that bad....plus its free) Now you have complete, lifetime protection. What did you spend? 10 minutes. 0 dollars. Hooray. Warpnow
Never used e-trust but I love Mcafee's Suite, which comes with: Firewall(much, much better than Windows Firewall) Virus Scan(Very, very good) Privacy Service Shredder(awesome) Spamkiller Wireless Home Network Security Antispyware Quickclean(frees up HD space for you) and then I go and grab Spybot, Ad-aware and Spy Sweeper, along with Stinger and AVG for extra virus scanning. UBER UBER PROTECTION! I've never used e-trust but I know some people who did that asked me to help them clean their pc and the scanners I installed found things it didn't. However, it may have found things mine didn't also, not sure. And...like I said, the people at Mcafee are stupid. No serial for the suite. You can even register a downloaded version for updates. All you do is put in contact info.
Warpnow
I would avoid Symantec, all of you...if you call their tech support they charge you 30 bucks. Eek! Edit: Here is a nice link about the upsides/downsides of all the different suites. http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,125817,pg,3,00.asp# edit: OOH, here is the top10 by PC Magazine. http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,124475,00.asp They gave bitdefender #1, I may have to check it out. Maventiem
My last PC had viruses and stuff out the wazoo. That was back when I used KaZaa, curse that P2P program to hell. I tried to clean it up just for kicks but in the end I gave up.
Zrothum
I've used Kazaa K++ v 2.4.5 for over two years. I've NEVER had a problem. And I download all sorts of crap. Music, movies, programs, everything. It's never done me wrong and I've NEVER seen a program that works better, downloads faster, or finds more sources. Warpnow
Kazaa won't be around much longer, its a good program but it IS infested with viruses, so don't use it without some serious scanners. edonkey is also good, and limewire is okay...but I've had trouble finding conent there. When it comes down to it, torrent sites have more content with less chance of a virus. I WARN ALL MUDDERS NOT TO USE BITDEFENDER! It randomly cuts me off the net for checks and **** without warning(making my char linkdead) or reboots the pc without giving me any option, that and I have found it impossible to uninstall. Zrothum
I dunno, I honestly have never gotten any trouble out of Kazaa for the long, long time I've been using it.
Deykari
That's what the last person who used Kazaa said. Three years on he's living in a bucket in the street, with the only possessions he own being a tray of fudge brownies from 1857 and a solid gold beaker. Coincidence? I think not. brsingr
And thus another lesson in porn browsing comes to an end. HEY! This is my dad's computer! Three males live in this house when I'm not here. one hasn't hit puberty, and the other two are full-grown, porn addicted men! My dad has a whole file I found of porn, labeled 'mosely' (what ever that is). Although I used to have a porn problem, I at least kept virus protection up to date. My dad has a whole file I found of porn, labeled 'mosely' (what ever that is).[/quote'] Thus the comment is proven true. Heh. As for the 'mosely' labeled folder. It's probably so that the younger, more impressionable male(s) in the house wouln't find it quite so easilly. I mean, come on. With a minor in the house, you really going to have a folder entitled 'PORN' in nice large caps like that? Not likely. However, he should have burried it in some obscure place and flagged it hidden as well. And a couple of other things. But that point is moot. The Lemming
hey Warpnow, just thought you should know that your messages are full and I cant send you a PM. Anyway what I wanted to say was that link you sent me didnt work after all. It just came up with a blank page. I thought it was just my connection because it is very fickle to say the least. But after trying for several days now it simply didnt work. Do not get me wrong, I am greatful that you tried, but I just thought you should know it didnt work. Thanks anyway. Warpnow
I uploaded the file to my server...tried copying and pasting the url rather than clicking? It has spaces in the filename so sometimes urls on forums mess that up.
