too hard to find people nowadays

With fear of being bitched at i'm gonna ask the question anyway.

Why?

What if you want to RP someone who maybe even as a mage, Hates what Savant is about you could work the RP, you would want to try to destroy the tower and such.

Or even easier one.

Someone who hates lawfulness but is perhaps a good or evil so can't join watcher, I can find RP reasons to attack the Cabal guard, so why should it be an instant slay? Its just a mob.

The short answer is cabal warfare interference rules were implemented to curtail cheating through OOC methods of communication such as AIM and MSN Messenger. The rules did not simply come from "Hey fellow Imms, I have an idea!"

In response to your claim that this would limit players' roleplay potential, cabaled characters should not be sitting inside/near their hq long periods of time anyways. Which means you can still roleplay a -hating character; just follow the rules in Divine Mandates, which are a lot less limiting than some would have you believe. Lastly, report any cabal-hq-sitting behavior to us and we will take care of it.

Cabal warfare interference has also been discussed at length in other threads. Please look for them for more information.

Crypt, doesn't it suck when they won't just meet you and hand over their goodies right away? :)

Vylan used to send notes to his next victims. Heh.

note to victim

note subject: Tick tock, tick tock.

note +

note + Time is running out. I'm coming.

note +

note + Vylan, Sihlouette of Death

i loved notes, instead of tells, because you don't pop out of the shadows. heh.

I hope you spelled "silhouette" properly in your notes. :D Otherwise, that would just be bush league.

I hate it when my enemies don't make themselves immediately obvious. I mean, come on!

You could, alternatively, walk around yelling "Come out, come out, wherever you are". You know, Cape Fear style.

:D

or like in "The Warriors."

"Watchers... come out to playeeeaaaaaa.....!"

You know if you just send a random challange without a tell you are probably going to just waste time.

I personaly never ever accept random challanges, but i do not negate them, i just ignore them and go on with my life. And then the person hangs around waiting and cannot chalange another because of the autoacept.

Also if you guys RPed more insted of silently attacking anyone you see, perhaps people would not be always hiding.

And if you stoped attacking people 8 ranks bellow you, perhaps they would fight back.

When i was ranking with Samaet, i would see him recall a dozen times, because everyone wanted his lower ranked head as a trophy.

And with that, just walk throw the 3 cities, doing a patrol at the common zones and you are bound to find anyone on your range. But if they will stay and fight, well that is another story.

The thing that kind of annoys me is when I kill someone and then the first thing they ask is my reason for it. Mainly, because I'm going to RP with them anyway, and that just throws the whole thing off. I mean, at least give me a chance to RP it out.

It's so cliche now to kill someone and RP afterwards. Haven't seen anyone lately that RPs before, during, and after the kill.

Just seems the majority of people are like....

-Ok. I'll kill this guy.

-Then I'll make up an RP reason for it.

-Then I'll RP it.

--Ok, I just killed him...

--Now, for a reason, hrmmm.......wtf?! Why is this guy asking for a reason?!?!

--reply stoofoo n00b. j00 lose.

--Hrmm, oh well. Maybe I'll the next person will let me RP it out after I kill them.

This is true... one time I was sitting in the tower with Dumini and I alt + tab'd over to the forums and ended up getting caught up in a few topics and when I went back I had been transfered to Khalandar in Shandor... being a Dwarf Cleric I really didn't get hurt too bad by the time I had got back but it was about 10 rounds before I noticed. Needless to say, I never sat in the cabal for too long again... :P
