Anyone use this awesome program?

For those that don't, you have a globe before you...and you scroll with your mouse...and it zooms in on the earth...all the way into a city, or a neighborhood...or a house.

Its freaky impressive.

I looked up Genesismuds address:

922 North Niles Ave

South Bend, IN 46617

and plugged it in. Google earth looked it up and auto zoomed in on where the fl server prolly is. Awesome, eh?

I've tried it, its only good for the US and a few other major cities. I tried to look up once the hotel I was staying in on my China trip and it won't even show buildings in those parts. I haven't tried the professional paying version so maybe thats better.

Did you ever have that friend who first informed you of it, and who would really exagerrate it?

"Woah, check Google Earth out! I had a look on it yesterday, and I could see right into my back-garden! For a moment, I didn't even know I was on a PC and just thought I was in my garden! I saw my neighbour trimming the hedge and everything!"

Been on it for about as long as Chayesh. Snoop in to see the Fiancee's town from time to time. Couple of other places. No, I'm not a stalker. A stalker is someone who prowls or sneaks about; usually with unlawful intentions. I don't prowl nor sneak. I stroll. While with my fiancee, my intentions aren't entirely innocent, they are however, legal.

Check out Area 51 sometime on Google Earth. You can find the lat/long on Wikipedia. You'll get to see the whole base that "doesn't exist"' date=' officially.[/quote']I did it, it's pretty cool. You can't zoom in very well, but you can distinctly see the really long runway and some hangars.
