Good People of Aabahran --

As some of you may know, there are those among us that have a particular
penchant for delicious baked goods.  Of all the fine confections in your
world, my favorite by far is...  The muffin.  As I try new varieties of this
delectable treat, I find myself yearning for something more.  Something
magnificent.  Something masterful.  

And therefore, I have decided to give each and all of you the chance to
prove your worth as a steward of fine ingredients and purveyor of
scrumptious delights.  In that vein, I hereby announce an event -- nay, an
historic milestone -- that men and Heralds alike will speak of for
generations to come.  A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage your wit,
determination, and intestinal fortitude in such a contest the likes of which
Aabahran has never seen.  Therefore, I give you...  

The Great Aabahranian Muffin Making Contest!  

In order to participate, I invite each of you to secure your finest
spatulas, load up your hardiest ladles, and pack your best pans.  For it is
time now to embark on a culinary crusade of epic proportions.  

To aid you in your quest, my staff have identified ten ingredients -- no
more, no less -- that combine to create the very best desserts that Aabahran
has ever known.  Needless to say, these ingredients are not easily come by. 
They will be difficult to find.  Hard won.  And highly coveted.  I advise
anyone wishing to participate to secure as many of the ingredients as
possible.  For when the ovens are roaring on the day of the contest, the
chef with the greatest number of these critical components will surely have
an advantage.  

Go now, Aabahran, and begin your quest.  For there are muffins to make.

Plot Timeline: November 28 - December 19

Plot Summary: The holidays are here and Gifnab needs some baked goods. In order to satiate his sweet tooth, the Conservator of Time has charged the mortals of Aabahran to round up an assortment of high quality ingredients and make some delicious muffins. These delicious reagents could be anywhere, so strap on your trailblazing boots, get out there, and find them. Oh, and some additional twists and turns may appear along the way, so be sure to keep an eye out for new developments!

Prizes will be awarded to all participants, with special prizes going to the winner and runners-up. There will be a live finale event on December 19 (time TBA).

Hope you all are enjoying the hunt for materials. I have seen many tasty sounding ingredients showing up in bags and lockers!

Keep in mind each ingredient only counts once, and there are ten total. You're welcome to trade them with your peers; but then, there can only be one winner -- whose muffin cuisine will reign supreme?

The live finale for this event will take place this Saturday, December 19 at 2:00pm EST (19:00 GMT). Participants that cannot make that time, please feel free to send me a note (IN GAME) if you cannot make the muffin-making palooza.

And as a bit of a teaser, expect there to be a special surprise at the end of the event. Be there, so you don't miss out!
