Warpnow
No response on either of my deletions? Ouch.
Deykari
Well I can't really comment, as I didn't really get to interact much with both chars in question. Out of curiosity though, why did you delete? Dey
Warpnow
With Crelle I was at a dead end. Had gotten booted from herald...just had nothing left. With Tizz, I was tired of the quite boring process of resuiting. I created the char pretty much for getting avatar and sent various apps months apart with no hint of a response. Rp lead me down a path I didn't really want to go, out of the hope, and I was once again an outlaw and I am 100% positive no one lawful saw me commit a crime other than the victims of my thievery. I was very, very careful.

Nightmare_from_hell
I went through three thieves while tizz was still at about 30... that's about the time you were first outlawed I believe and you were having a hard time with Martineius about... Serahni Duneld my most favorite of my three thieves really felt for you while we where trying to hunt and every time Marty logged you'd have to go and hide because face it, being an outlaw and having Marty on your tail with a small reserve of recalls is never a good thing. Props for sticking it out for as long as you did, Marty had to be a bit annoying for you at only rank 30.
Marc
I remember you killing the treants I sent at Val Miran before I had shown my watcher flag and me coming in and giving them armor and such and you said "You're one o' them watchers aren't ya?" or something like that That's about all the interaction I had with Tizzertop. Why do you put it in OOC forum though? It's supposed to be about stuff not pertaining to the game.
Warpnow
Mistake and I don't think I can move it. Yeah, I killed Raiders...while doding the tribunals trying to kill me while I did so. hah, thus becoming the enemy of both the tribs and the watchers. I wasn't much for letting staying alive get in the way of my rp. Edit: And, yes, it was very difficult being outlaw at that low a rank during Marti's reign. J.Twendrist
Aww... and after I trusted you enough to get you un-waranted. That was some interesting talking though. Good luck on your next. (Legari RIP)
Questioner
You mean you think you were careful...You were pretty much shouting out your crimes when I was fighting you, but other than that I had fun interacting with you. Even though we fought more than spoke with each other.

WarriorCleric
Why do you put it in OOC forum though? It's supposed to be about stuff not pertaining to the game. Well maybe if he still played here, but he quit, so his characters being denied have no affect on the game anymore. WC
Warpnow
I just have to say ....... -PLEASE- format notes. Hehehe. I personally formatted them because I liked having lots and lots of paragraphs in my rambling notes. 01234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789 woo hoo! Deykari
That's too many. You should have 0123456789 repeated seven times. Yours, it is repeated eight, which means that the very end bits of your lines would start on a new line. Your scrolls always used to look like this when read IG: Hey guys this is warpnow sending you a note how are you doing? I hope you get this note because i need to know what to do about that thing where we get the things from the thingie, especially when it comes to getting the rest of those things from the big thing. And I suppose if you get the things from the big thing you can see that the thing you did was always thingified. Gotta love those things eh? Hope you get this note dude! Lots of love from the Artic! Warpnow, Your only friend. Which is why Isadora mentioned your formatting. Dey
Chayesh
LMAO...I think someone needs a new forum avatar, right after note formatting class....instead of Godly try the N00b.
Warpnow
Or maybe its because your client is set to 70 characters a line. Mine can display over 100, so on mine it looks fine. Just cuz you guys use huge fonts with no resolution doesn't mean we all do.
Icor
I use Lucida Consol at about size 8, wrapping my text at 80 characters. A lot of people use about that same set up. However, Warpnow, that doesn't really matter. It's still YOUR fault your notes look like crap, not ours. You can try to pin your blame on us "guys" all day. It's not going to fix your notes. songofsixpence
mine can do about the same. doesn't matter. it's been stated before that notes should be formatted to a maximum of 70 characters/line. so whether or not your client can display more columns than that is irrelevant, you do what's been stated so that those who don't play on adjustable width clients can read it. Acerbity
It's also recommended in the helpfiles to wrap at 70 characters. No clue why you think 80 looks better; it just looks like **** for the rest of us.
Icor
I should probably wrap to 70. If you write a lot of notes though, you can kinda tell what's too long a line without the 123456789 thing.
WarriorCleric
It's also recommended in the helpfiles to wrap at 70 characters. No clue why you think 80 looks better; it just looks like **** for the rest of us. Face it guys, FL would just be better if we did it his way, 80 character standard, the entire playerbase playing immortals, specific criteria for receiving imm rewards, etc. One more case where it's warps way or no way. Just cuz you guys use huge fonts with no resolution doesn't mean we all do. I use size 10 Courier New on a 1680x1050 resolution, your notes still looked like butt. Can't be everyone else, Warp. Warpnow
Point being: Its not the mud wrapping my notes at the wrong place, its the client. I didn't know it did that because I've never had a client wrap at 70...
Designated_Driver
Five Easy Steps to Note Formatting (With MS Word): 1) Open a new Word document. 2) Click File > Page Setup 3) Set "Right Margin" to 3.0" 4) Click OK 5) Write and send note But yeah, Icor's right. After a while, you get a feel for where you need to end a line to make it look right in your MUD client. PS - I don't know about anyone else, but Xachatuul said it best to some militia clanny, while I was playing Listaria. "Your note is so unsightly, I'm not even going to read it." I just don't even bother to read notes that aren't formatted properly. I suppose the IMMs don't have that luxury (though it probably loses you points, in their books).
