What I am trying to figure out is how I can mount any sort of offense whatsoever.I might try a more defensive weapon like a staff next time, but I suspect I won't be parrying much of anything against him.Out of 63 melee combat attacks he missed 1, I parried 2, and my bone wall blocked 1. 94% land rate on his melee. Archbishop Monk Posted January 1, 2023 Report Share Posted January 1, 2023 1. Find a way to get enlarged. It won't stop his rushes, but it will decrease the lag. It didn't look like you were enlarged here. 2. Get that soul tear off. It will increase the damage he takes from your ice aura at least for more offense. 3. Try your other spells like wraith storm and grasp of the crypt. It will help some. 4. You are not going to outdamage him. So, widdle away at his consumables/gold. Curse and run. Curse, wraith storm, run. Make him greedy and frustrated. edit: I forgot. He's in church armor, he's going to have plenty of -mental at least to cover his vuln if not more. So land mals that can't be cured easy. Wraith swarm, grasp of the crypt, etc. Link to comment

I won't try and soul tear a crusader ever again! They are immune to it and it backfires with nasty damage to me and drains my phylactery. -Chofarex Link to comment

Remember, most can only have one psalm up at a time. Secondly, running them out of moves isn't the only reason for grasp of the crypt. The -dex will hurt too. Link to comment

It didn't look like a psalm to me tbh, and if I don't know what to look out for anyway it's super risky to go for it because if it does backfire it is a massive setback. Link to comment
