Ophiel X
What about a crusader' date=' we have 2 vamps and no crussader.[/quote'] ugh, that's the most gimped qclass. unless you make the right choices you just end up a gimped warrior i know they have potential....but not much. as for what to roll...DKs are always fun, one of the few things a human is good at! I have never in-game seen justification for that position. I've never had a sader, but I've fought plenty, and I definitely don't feel that they're weak. English lad
I think Behrens might have something to say on the subject of Crusader's being 'gimped' What were the stats he had on Corim again? Like 100 svs across the board with -800 ac?

Pali
What in-game justification? Heh...ever fight one of Balinor's crusaders? Must've been one of the crusaders I did kill. ^_~ But hey, just because a qclass/qrace is killable doesn't mean they're weak. I've killed vamps, but is anyone claiming they're weak? Deykari
I've killed vamps' date=' but is anyone claiming they're weak?[/quote'] No, because killing afk/naked players is hardly the hallmark of skill. Dey
Pali
No, because killing afk/naked players is hardly the hallmark of skill. Dey *laughs* Unlike many, I actually do try to avoid killing afk/naked players, thank you. =P
F-3000
I kill afk/naked players, if they're aggressor. Oh yes, FG with only weapon and overwhelming amount of desperation is sad sight. Edit: Not to forget the flower basket...

Edit: Not to forget the flower basket... Oh, if someone attacks me and their link drops, they should expect to return just as dead as I expect to be when it happens to me. But if I attack someone, and realize moments later that they are linkdead, I rarely will finish them off.
Warpnow
I won't kill them either way. Heh. I'm pretty strange when it comes to pk. If I attack someone and think I'm winning too easy I KNOW they're a newb because I'm not that good, and so will back off, but if I am getting my *** handed to me I'll go at them full force. Pali
Only way a newb's going to learn to fight back is for more experienced people to pound them. It's how I learned.
Ophiel X
I have never in-game seen justification for that position. I've never had a sader' date=' but I've fought plenty, and I definitely don't feel that they're weak.[/quote'] it's not that they're weak per se, i just consider them very average. i guess my main gripe with them is how balanced they are. to be a powerhouse you have to use every single tool that's available to you, and that's not true with the other qclasses. 90% of the chars i roll are evils, and i wouldn't mind seeing crusaders opened up as a regular class. that's the honest truth, i wouldn't feel threatened at all. on the other hand, if vamps or psions were opened up i'd be almost afraid to log on (and that's not a gripe, i like things how they are, just explaining my thoughts...also i formed my opinion on 2.0 knowledge, so i could be totally off-base, heh)

Crucial
Crack! Why can't you people just think up your own chars to roll? Don't roll a charecter because someone else tells you to. Just find something that looks interesting and go with it. As long as it's not a blademaster. Or Ogre Ranger Knight. Or Drow Cleric Tribunal. Other than that, enjoy! cause after numerous years nothing looks interesting anymore. It just looks like crack. ANd like john lennon said "crack is all you need"
Crypticant
I miss the old psionicists... You of course mean the "Psiconicists", right? It was fun changing every instance of the word "Psiconicist" to "Psionicist" in the code years ago.

Pali
Maybe he doesn't realize that he has found Crusies weakness. Oh, they've got weaknesses, just like everybody else. Great thing about saders is that what's the weakness for one isn't necessarily the weakness for all.
Implementor Anume Posted August 8, 2006 Implementor Report Share Posted August 8, 2006 The fun thing about saders is that most are totally different from each other. I've seen some who gave shamans hysterics, I've seen some who you just could not hit as a melee, it all depends on their choices. Remeber some of the more famous ones like Chaoliac or the Knight one with L... ? Yeah, I suck at names but there's been quite a few good ones. (Guess I remember Chaoliac from trying to kill him a couple times. Emphasis on trying.... ) Also some of the few classes who can give you a very hard time wearing "only" "mithril"
