JumpenJack
Why is there recall lag now? I've been curious about this for some time now. Anyone care to shed light on the subject for me?
Fiere
Now? It's been there as long as I've been around. It's for PK use, to even things out.
Warpnow
To make recall dangerous, or at least slightly so. You don't want people being able to escape any fight really easy. I mean, if there was no lag, you could recall and be out of the city in seconds. As it is, they can run back and either attack you, or see which way you left. Crucial
no lag if you really dont want recall lag, roll up a new character and dont leave level 10. NO LAG ON RECALL! WOOT! party on!
JumpenJack
I'ts not that I don't want recall lag, in fact it works in favor for my new char. I just wanted to know why it was added.
Pali
It was added to make recalling a bit more dangerous for escaping PK situations. You won't get the lag if you've not been in recent combat.
Mindflayer
I hated the no recall lag on AR, it made casting classes with word a bitch to finish unless you could curse.
