Pieman
I haven't pinned a char in a few months for this reason. I have like 1000000 apps and descs written right now, but I can't pinn anything. I have like 30 level 20s I just can't keep going because I get another idea. Anyone know the cure? Designated_Driver
Keep rolling until you find something you really enjoy. That's what it usually takes for me. I must have rolled 20 characters, before I came up with some of my better endeavors, IE - Taeim.
Fiere
I have the same exact problem. My solution was to not delete anything, so when I get a whim to do a new one, I go back to my old one that I already have, and thus bypass the training and desc writing. Worked wonders already. Iusedtobesomebody
i try to stick to one character, train the crap out of it and ignore the urge to try something else. note i said try.
Pali
To be honest, I don't really think there's any sort of "do this and you'll be able to focus on the char" plan that works. I sometimes do the same thing (though I've never had more than 6 chars at once), and eventually I'll just find one guy to focus on. Maybe instead of trying to plan out great chars, just make a char and play him. Don't put huge amounts of planning into him, just decide "I'm going to roll up and play this and see where he goes." All of my chars that I have taken to condeath, and most have my pinns, have come from when I have just forgotten about trying to come up with crazy RP and planning a big life out for them, and just rolling something up with a little RP idea and seeing what happens. Dey *nods* Exactly. It's more role-playing to just step into your char's shoes and see what happens than to plan out everything. SOME planning is good, but allow the char to develop and see where FL takes it.
corpsestomp
Make something with no exp penalty, and very little training required to *survive.* My human necro was one of my more fun characters, because all I did was train parry and try to pinn. Aulian
*Boggle* I always only have one main that I spend 95% of my time with.. Only recently have I come to using two mains, and at the moment the times split about 55% 45% EDIT: Both are pinns
