End Conversation

I think it would be nice (especially for Rogue classes) to be able to end the conversation with someone, thus disabling them from 'reply checking' to see if you're still in the lands.

EDIT: There be command Ignore.. Not sure what the msg is for the ignored after ignoring, but this sorts this.

quit out/log back in.

Ignore serves a different purpose all together, and quit/log back in is the obvious, imperfect alternative.

Alternative as in cheat

I didn't realize it was cheating, but see! Wisdom learned, and another good reason to have this command, imo.

Tells and reply have ever had certain tactical uses, this is one of them. I don't see a reason for this to change.

Locate object has similar qualities btw.

And quitting out and logging back in has a tactical use. If you can use a game mechanic for tactics and strategy, so can a rogue, right? 

I think both acts are shady and sketchy as hell, but it happens. Its all abuse and its gonna happen either way. Don't punish either one, in my opinion, and it hasn't been to my knowledge. Its just an "accepted" strategy, haha.

As much as I hate to say this.... if one is allowed, it's only fair to allow to other too, IMO.

It is not against the rules, see the winky smiley = we will not punish anyone for doing it.

It's in the same category as reconnecting because you spammed commands. Another cheat we will not punish.

Glad you said this. I always felt shady about logging out and back in to make my stone golem hit harder. Now that I type this out, really seems like that is a bug. Please don't change it though lol. Stone golem is my early leveling mage crutch.

It's a bug. But not a bug I'm going to fix, simply because it's kind of pointless to fix it (after a certain level, calling a golem, then quitting out and coming back won't make it any stronger).

with hooded figures, transformed vampires (really only an issue when there are more than one running around), certain Nexus skill and Imms sending messages by proxy (through a made-up name or 'someone') there are too many "unknowns" harassing people as is! lol 

I've never opted for the ignore command, but having 'someone' make veiled threats or be cryptic with nonsensical ramblings is certainly a persuasive argument in my book. there's enough of that going on without having to hide their identity. 

my rant besides... lol the thief/ninja/ranger/druid/bard should get in the habit of planting notes or sending notes... no need to worry about a reply then!
