EyeSeeU
So my $ league draft is coming up in about a week. I have been blessed with the first pick of our draft. However this year having the first pick is anything but a blessing. My league consists of eight teams as it has for several years now. The question I am asking you all, or those whom dabble in the fantasy sports arts is whom do I take with the #1 pick. I have thought long and hard about this for weeks apon weeks. Everyone says to take Larry Johnson a rb from the Chiefs, however the chiefs are not the same chiefs as last year. They lost their blocking fullback and they are missing A key offensive lineman in Willie Roaf, and they also have a new coaching staff. So then people tell me well if its not Larry take Shaun Alexander a rb from the Seahawks. I like this pick yet I do not like how the Seahawks lost a probowl offensive linemen whom blocked for Shaun's best running side last season. Even though the Seahawks are in the worst running defensive division in the whole NFL I am still skeptical about picking Shaun. Then there is LaDainian Tomlinson a rb from the San Diego Chargers. His natural talent profounds me, with a rookie of a QB in Phillip Rivers starting for the Chargers it gives me a little more hope in that they will probably need to run the ball a lil more then last year, yet Having Antonio Gates for a teamate in the redzone with a rookie qb scares me, as Gates could steal possible LT touchdowns. I think come draft day its going to come down to Shaun or LaDainian but which one should I take? Your thoughts?
Iusedtobesomebody
LT. with Rivers being new to a starting role as QB, they will rely more on the running game. Alexander is good, no doubt, but i question the blocking with Hutchinson defecting.
Crypticant
If you want to pick an RB first round (which is a good idea, of course), I'd go with Shaun Alexander. 1,800+ rushing yards last year don't lie. You don't make the cover of Madden 2007 by being mediocre, and he looked good last night against the Colts. If you want a wide-out, I'd go with Marvin Harrison. With James out of the Colts lineup, Peyton will be throwing more this year than ever. He and Marvin are probably the best QB-WR pairing in the NFL (even though I hate and despise that team). inscribed
Sorry. USA says american football is the real football, therefore it is so. You'll have to find another word for 'soccer', like, oh I don't know, 'soccer'?

WarriorCleric
Well, from early training camp news, Carl Evans looks very promising with his 9.7 second 50 meter. Though let us not forget about John De'La'Range, does that guy have a cannon or what, though I find is era and time in the penalty box a little disturbing, I mean seriously, who wants another dennis rodman on in the diamond. But I am particularly interested in Sal, I don't think I've seen a man flip burgers and turn out beer in the consessions like that since '97 and we all know that happy fans are quite fans when the teams driving, and who wants to start the game off in the rough? Not me. Though I will probably place most of my eggs in the basket named Theodore Hawking, sure he's developing a bit of a mobility problem like his father, but that sharp mind could be the key towards leading the team towards victory when they are down 30-love. After Dal Earnharts unfortunet ending, I am told a very promising pit crew is looking to come back strong and I do believe I would place a lot of faith in there ability to change out the teams weaker points when needed, never overlook the underdogs when they have something to prove. What? It's Fantasy Football, isn't it? I'll field who I want, where I want, and we'll see who the victor is. WC
