Alias and MUSHclient

I am having a bit of trouble here with alias with this Client. I used all of the alias the mud itself has. This is my problem: let use 'fire = c 'fireball'' even when I say a word with fire it still casts it. How can I get that to stop?

Sounds like what you're using is a trigger, not an alias, but I can't be sure. I.E., if someone else says fireball, do you cast it?

The way it works for me is:

hit ctl+shift+9 to get into the alias menu.

Hit the "add" button'

In the "alias" box put in fb(or whatever)

In the "send" box put in cast fireball(or whatever)

The only box checked is the "enabled" check box

well if I say anything along the lines of my alias it will do it. Wether it is in the begining, middle of end of a word. It is not being cast when someone else says the alias only me, but as I said it looks for the alias even when it is in a world like firefly, firebrand or anything like that.
