WagesofSin
This is a question directed at the Imm staff obviously. I've been wondering whether you guys(the Imms) ever have your own mortal characters. Is it allowed even? If so, are there any restrictions? Is it a common place? Maybe you could give us a list of any past imm played characters that no longer exist to give us a clue?
elfdude
Uhhh... why wouldn't they be allowed mortal characters?

Implementor Anume Posted September 5, 2006 Implementor Report Share Posted September 5, 2006 Most Imms have mortal characters. Names will not be given out as we do not wish the identiy of the Imms widely known. Most Imms have been chosen for both rp and pk. There are restrictions for us to playing our morts, making sure we do not "cheat" or gain an advantage over other players. There are also limitations for Imm chars that do not exist for other mortals.
WagesofSin
Oh I wasn't asking you guys to reveal current characters, just maybe characters that have died/deleted.
EtsoShex
Also, what kind of restrictions?
corpsestomp
I know that they can't log from an Imm to a mort without 15+ minutes in between...I've heard that somewhere on the forums...
TheNewGuy
Oh I wasn't asking you guys to reveal current characters' date=' just maybe characters that have died/deleted.[/quote'] that was the question Eshaine answered. they don't want to be assiciated with a certain char. don't forget the imms are in-game too, not only morts. wolfman
I would imagine that one of the rules that they have to live by is that they probably can't join their own cabal, they may not be able to join any cabals, but that sounds a bit much. Warpnow
Help God Rules are the written restrictions, but I'm not sure if those are up to date.
Dale
I know that Behrens played Hershnei(sp?). I was led to believe anyway.
Designated_Driver
Pfft. Too bad that's irrelevant, since Behrens isn't an IMM.
Chayesh
My favorite IMM rule that has always been an unwritten one is that no IMM can discipline a mortal character for something they did to the IMM's mort...not even an IMP. It is always referred to another IMM to handle for fairness reasons. HELP GOD RULES is the foundation, but there is much more to it than that. Iusedtobesomebody
of course IMMs have morts. to RP, to PK, to test new mechanics. whatever. the 15 minute IMM to mort rule was in place during my time and it was a good rule. we loved to play with 'the ants' (as i called 'em, heh). once you hit the heavens, a part of the mystery from FL is gone. why wouldn't IMMs be allowed to play in our own backyard? just remember, IMMs morts were held to a higher set of standards. we had to apply for everything just like everyone else. there was no shenanigans that i can remember. every IMM was a player first, so why deny them what they love? Dale
Behrans isn't an IMP anymore? Regardless, he used to be. Just like Virigoth was a feared Vampire and DK in AR.
English lad
Behren's is of course still running the show..The old 'behrens' isn't an Imm thing goes way back. Lots of IMMs play, and of course have played previous characters. Behren's in particular played a bunch of very famous chars, I think the main reason IMMS don't state who they played now, is for the same reason that they don't make public what their old forum handles were. One of the major things about this Admin was trying to move away from OOC info..AIM groups etc.. and making it public who they 'used' to be, in terms of Morts probably wouldn't help with that to much. Designated_Driver
I believe you're thinking of Caoliac. Because if Behrens played Thoonroth, I'm going to kill him.
Dale
I believe it was Thhonroth, maybe Caoliac also. I know he had a thing for storm saders.
