Designated_Driver
As of tonight, I am "unofficially" an Eagle Scout. I had my meeting with the district Eagle commissioner, and he "passed" me for Eagle Board of Review. However, this is just a formality - once he signs off on the form (which he did tonight), I am for all intents and purposes an Eagle Scout. My official Eagle Board of Review is October 25th, which I am eagerly awaited so I can get into a decent college. Anyway, this is my own little "woohoo" for me. Questioner
Good job and congrats. I left boy scouts after the scandal and everything. Not because I'm gay or a gay lover, but because of the way they spent their money. I never stayed long enough to get my eagle.
Designated_Driver
lol dude how old are you....... 17. Unlike some people, I managed to finish earlier than two days before my 18th birthday.

Lethereal
Congratulations! I think that's really great - it shows very good character. Good luck and watch out for troop leaders. J/K
elfdude
Congratz, and don't let anyone get down on you because I know that eagle scouts basically get into any college and get any job that they want. What was your eagle scout project?
Designated_Driver
A blood drive. Was pretty successful, too, if I say so myself. And better than all those silly landscaping projects. I swear, three quarters of the Eagles in the history of the BSA must've built park benches or planted flowers. It's like it's a requirement. elfdude
The only reason that I know about the project or anything is because my buddy built a ****ing bridge. Seriously, he poured the foundation, cut all the wood and **** and actually BUILT A BRIDGE.
Fiere
That's crazy impressive. I repainted the lines in a parking lot for some charity foundation. Not much, but it got the job done. Shoot, I was only thirteen at the time.
The Lemming
Congradulations! That is a huge accomplishment, and one that you deserve every credit for getting. I am sure you have heard it before but it is something that you will always carry with you for the rest of your life. I too am an eagle scout though I earned mine close to six years ago and at 5:46 pm the day before my 18th B-day may I add. Perhaps a bit of useless trivia for you, did you know that out of every 100 boys to join scouting only about 2-3 will become eagle? Also there has only been one president of the USA that was an eagle scout. Most boy scouts know better...
WarriorCleric
That's awesome man, I didn't have it in me to go for it. Nevermind all the nice perks from being an eagle scout, you really have to learn a lot to be one, it's awesome. WC
