Chromatic
What would happen to a werebeast that decided to go good?
Celerity
Enough to discourage it from being doing for PK reasons.
Fear, the Angel's Name
Usually that sort of thing is up to the immortals.... there are special cases in many things.. at least, there used to be. I don't know how it's done these days.
Benji13
I know of a drow that has gone good. Lost some of his skills but it can happen.
WarriorCleric
Its all up too the imms descretion on a case by case basis. Sometimes align changes have been a loss of everything, other times it's a loss of nothing, and then there is all the space in between. It seems to me that it is usually based on the dedication of the player towards his own story, and the depth of the story, blah blah blah. Best bet, RP it out, and have some fun with it, then find out, it's like christmas where you've been a bad boy for half a year, are you getting a gift? Or are you getting coal? Ohhhh, the suspense! WagesofSin
I always thought being an outcast was given as a penalty. Either you didn't roleplay well or did something really bad. That is why I fealt it justified to remove skills because of it. However, it sounds like you can get outcasted if you want to roleplay your character that way, is this correct? In that case why give them such a penalty for their good roleplay?
Fiere
Sometimes it's not "such a penalty", like WC said. It depends.
corpsestomp
Outcast does not necessarily mean bad. Werebeasts are inherently neutral, a good werebeast might be outcast because he's different from the rest, but not in a bad way.
Zavero
The reason they may take some/a bunch of skills is due to balance I would guess. Werebeasts are neutral for a reason, making them good might somehow upset the balance of the game. Although I don't personally see how it would effect balance, but I am not an immortal. Deykari
Balance yes, but not always. It could be for roleplay reasons, common-sense reasons, allsorts. With Samaet, the reason I didn't get half of my Zerk skills obviously wasn't because of being overpowered, but I would imagine because there's no way in hell that a Faerie is going to be cleaving shields in two and headbutting people; makes sense. It was also during this time that a band of forest dwelling folk whom took up their arms against these unnatural creatures were blessed with extraordinary abilities by the gods of Nature. Taken from werebeast helpfile. They are Gaia's race, so I imagine Nature-folks wouldn't be too happy at a defacting werebeast, especially seeing as the Nature-folks gave them their extraordinary power. Which I imagine could just as easily be removed. Dey
Fiere
Which would beg the point, Why be a werebeast if you're going to lose it? Just be a freaking human.
Deykari
Bingo. What is a werebeast that has nothing werebeastly about it? A human. And when is a door, not a door? When it's a jar. Dey

Fiere
It would have to be some really, really fascinating rp for me to go werebeast good.
Deykari
Roleplay, yes, but if you were roleplaying from the word go that you're already a good werebeast (which has obviously been forsaken by Gaia or whatever) I think it would make more sense to be a Human and roleplay that you were once a Werebeast and had your naturely-links removed as opposed to rolling a Werebeast, applying for good and then being gimped down to a Human (or worse). I am of course, making a lot of assumptions here, such as a Werebeast that doesn't follow nature would have their werebeast stuff (that is granted by nature) removed, making them a Human with different stats, so I could be wrong. IMO it would be a different case if you were a real nature-loving Werebeast but then events in-game much later on in your life turned you otherwise. That makes more sense to me.
