Evangelion
Someone's post in shout outs reminded me. Are we going to have Halloween Madness this year?
EtsoShex
What's that?
Evangelion
... If that's not a joke, you're scaring me. Halloween madness is where, for a day, everyone puts their characters and RP on hold. The IMMs code it so everyone can instantly get to 50, and have a certain skill proficiency (hopefully 100%), and they put out really nice armor and weapons. It then proceeds to become a massive PK fast, usually characterized with intermittent IMM run events. Last time, we had a massive capture the flag game, which was AMAZING. The Lemming
I remember that! That day, I managed to kill George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Ghandi! Wow that was great.
Fiere
I've never been to one. Missed it last year, or we didn't have one.

Evangelion
It was. I tried a lot of races/classes I had never played before, and had a lot of fun. Definently made me want to try a fire giant warrior/berserker, if I could ever convince myself that the training wouldn't kill me.
Fear, the Angel's Name
Did they let you guys have Crusaders last year? If not, I might have to work on one..

Streetfighter
I hope they have it, its a great break from the normal fl life (even though that awesome enough) but its just good fun.
Evangelion
And I definently think it's a community building activity. Getting to know the people you're playing with in a setting outside of RP is usually a good thing. And as a pre-emptive strike against the people who say it's a way of establishing OOC connections, it's not anymore of such a way than these here forums. Dale
80 % in skills blms and monks get 80 anats and no qraces and no, they didn't do it last year. Behrens apologized and said he would make up for it. No he didn't but I think some sor of apology was issued.
Evangelion
It was actually 85% in skills. But this year we can pray for 100%, can't we?
Chief
Yeah, Bring it on back I say, I remember when the imms gave the team leaders like 5000 hp, man was that fun. Deykari
I played a stone ranger and a werebeast ranger in the last one and trashed everybody I came across. I'm such a 'leet' PKer! (even though everybody was already half-dead from all the chaos so it doesn't count) Until there was that crazy battle going on in Shazarazade(sp?) with tons of people. I got owned by the people on my team (invokers with ice storm and firestorms). I absolutely loved it though. Capture the flag was brilliant. What was that Shaz thing anyway? I can't remember..weren't we split into two teams, one team had to defend the town whilst the others had to invade and kill some huge mob? It was brilliant, I was on the defending team and people kept grouping with all the invokers to avoid getting hurt, but when you have 20+ players running at you it's just all-out chaos. Marc
I thought they didn't want to do it because you could rank up classes like clerics and DK's and find out what their DI's and malforms do without doing all the normal hard work. Mudder
I've never done a halloween madness, but if you can level up a malform on halloween madness then you deserve to see what it does. You lose power on your malform every time you die. Heh, which would be a lot that night.
Deykari
I remember that Ogre Zerk who didn't die once and just kept owning everyone so Malynne (I think) sent a note out telling everyone that said Ogre hasn't died yet. Should have seen the people flock to Rheydin CC. Dey
Dale
It was actually 85% in skills. But this year we can pray for 100%, can't we? No, it is 80%. Always was, and I'm sure always will be.

Mudder
Heh, I have been here FOREVER, and every halloween I have something I have to do... Ugh, and this year will probably be no different. Though I would love to kick everyones butt for a couple hours that morning? Though every Christmas and Easter/Thanksgiving I DO log in and hope for something cool... *frown* nothing.
