Deykari
I'd apologize for bringing this thread back up if it wasn't for the fact that I'm not actually sorry. HE IS DOING IT AGAIN. SAME PERSON. SAME TYPE OF FOOD (SANDWICHES). SAME VIOLENCE-INDUCING NOISES. Dey

Deykari
Bump. I'm not letting this thread die until either he or I get the sack. He's having one of his one-off dinners in the office again. Why won't somebody just teach this guy how to eat?!?! Dey
Mindflayer
I had the best lunch ever at "The Black Horse Tavern" in Amberlee. It was the ****, and so were the pints, CHEERS! *Edit-its not Amberlee, rather it's spelled Amberley... but that was the wrong castle/pub combo... The Black Horse Tavern was by some run down castle.... food was sick none the less, even had a pub dog that runs around and eats scraps off the floor, love it. Deykari
You get 15 points for calling your drink 'a pint', 25 for using the word 'cheers', 25 for eating at a 'tavern' but you lose 65 for doing all that, at one of the most obscure UK locations ever. I even had to google 'Amberlee'. Dey
Mindflayer
Damn kid, you're from England and you've never seen Amberley Castle?! "Bloody" good times.. my girlfriend's grandmother lives there so we went to visit. We also had a blast at Brighton Beach-awesome club scene.. perhaps you've heard of that area. Spent a weekend there for 186 pounds at a hotel on the strip, and it was worth every 50 PENCE piece!
Deykari
Ah, bottom't border wit' Southerners. I'm a Northern monkey, so it's not my haunt. I 'ave heard that Brighton 'as a bloody cracking club scene, but 'av never got t'dabble m'self. Dey

Sirax
I hadnt heard of it either, Brightons not bad indeed though it is very popular as a gay area. Some good bands play live there though, Bournemouth is much better for clubbing and a lads night out, costs a packet though.

On payday we usually get a minibus booked for the return journey, get train down there and have a cracking night out. Then realise how much it cost us to have that night out, and spend the rest of our weekends on the "lesser" nights out in Hull. You from daaaarrn saarf then Sirax? Sirax
Yeah not all the way south, london lad me. Yeah ive heard Leeds and Sheffield are top places to go, been to a lot of areas but havent made it there yet, only problem is age, its catching upto me fast . Have to say though i bet your beers a whole lot better than what we have, you do get some nice places with good beer, but you also get watered down slop, wouldnt be the south otherwise
Deykari
I wouldn't know, I only ever catch the the slightest sip of beer and that leaves me hammered. <-- lighter than a feather when it comes to beer. Dey
