Iyorvin
Well I dont' think she's beautiful but her voice got me listening to all sorts of music, like Nightwish, Lucuna Coil, etc. My Immortal is still my favorite song.

BigMac
I wanna see Jack White punch her in the head and bust out playing Death Letter. :-P She's too emo-punk-goth for me. Those are the kids who I made fun of in highschool, and they're the kids who I yell at on a daily basis.

BigMac
Emo/punk/goth are all completely different. Genres of sad kids are all the same to me. White makeup, black hair, stupid haircut, shallow scars on wrists, crappy taste in music, etc.
Zrothum
I don't think I'd classify her music as any of the above. Perhaps the outfits....but the music isn't all about that. It's no "worse" than 90% of the "rock" music on the radio. Emo is still much of an underground music taste. Although bands like My Chemical Romance are making it popular now. But your true Emo bands, like The Dillinger Escape Plan, remain very much out of the mainstream media. Punk is dead. RIP Sex Pistols Goth is out there...Amy Lee dresses it, but her music isn't gothic. Shall I clarify anything else?
BigMac
It's all about that good ol' fashioned blues, man. Son House, Muddy Waters, Miles Davis. Although they're not sexy, their music sure is.

Fear, the Angel's Name
Music comes in different flavors, like giants. I don't like fire giants, but that doesn't mean I call them trash.
EtsoShex
It's all about that good ol' fashioned blues, man. Son House, Muddy Waters, Miles Davis. Although they're not sexy, their music sure is. Well, if you know who Robert Johnson is (which I'm sure you do), then I'm sure you know who Robert Jr. Lockwood is. If not, he's the only person taught by Robert Johnson himself. And Robert Jr. Lockwood shook my hand, and played my guitar. He said he liked it. a-guitarist
Ten extra words, a million extra words.... who's really counting. Also, what good is just spitting out the same thing everyone feeds you? If that NRA dude said, "Guns are good." and you, in a report, or debate, or whatever, felt compelled to say something akin to that, would you look like an intellegent, young, practitioner of the second amendment or just some piece of record/replay hardware set on repeat? Who wants to be a parrot anyways? Be your own man, not like everyone else. a-g

Iyorvin
Emo = Sad Punk/Goth, I don't think so. Soon as they become depressed and suicidal they are classed Emo now anyway. Punks are not dead, and Goths......well they are just now Emo. Punk will never die.
