Aulian
Alright, simply put, my computer just stopped restarting because its a flaming piece of **** that now no longer starts, never mind about connecting to the internet . So I wont be around as MUCH but it should be fixed in the next couple of days so never fear! I haven't dropped off the face ot the planet, and no, korea has not just tested their new nuclear weapons on NZ either -Cheers
Deykari
That doesn't make sense. You say you won't be around as much as normal (as if to say you'll still be on, but not as often) yet your computer doesn't start. How can you expect to play at all? Aulian
actually its really weird. I installed new Spyware software to FIX the god damn thing, now when it starts up, it says there is no endpoint in some .dll file and then promptly restarts. Its basically a continual process, starts, gets there then stops. Crazy crazy mixed up world eh?

BigMac
Format and reinstall your OS. You should be able to get it back up in two hours tops.
WarriorCleric
If you have a kind friend, you should be able to get your information off the drive too. Just take out your harddrive and plug it in as a second drive on another computer. Copy what you need off, the reformat and reinstall. WC
BigMac
And remember to move the jumper or else you won't be able to get your stuff without taking the damn thing out, moving the jumper, and putting it back. Stupid jumpers.
Iyorvin
Restart in safe mode. Or enter your bios setup and restore optimal default settings. IN safe mode you might not need the .dll file and it will start windows up and let you play around.
Talcian
Listen to Iyorvin first. Its very possible that you may not need to reformat. Go into safe mode like he said (usually either F5 or F8 while its booting up). It could just be the new software you installed. Try to remove the program. Its worth a shot. Let us know what happens. dragonforger17
hey my computer did the same thing but it doesnt restart. however it says it couldnt locate on of the .dll files and then it just went on its way and you could always if your using windows you system restore and restore it to before you installed the prograrm you would have everything up to that day. BigMac
You could get a CD-Bootable copy of Linux and then get on the interweb and download the DLL files and manually replace them.

WarriorCleric
Stormware Remover? I'd stick with Adaware, Spybot, and I really liked Giant AntiSpyware... which was aquired and became microsoft antispyware, which was renamed to Windows Defender... Yeah, I know. Anyways, I'm installing the current version to see how it compares to the last, just to be sure. WC
neckbeard
I'm with Bigmac on this one, get you a linux boot and just trow the file in there. EBCD is an excellent boot CD, You can even use it to reset your local passwords on any NT machine. Useful stuff, I'd recommend it to anyone, except Talcian, that guys a loser.
