Beer is gooood!

It always amuses me when people have drinking contests, drinking games, etc. Why don't we cut right to the chase, and instead of "minute long keg stands", we have "minute long radiation stands". We could aptly destroy bodies in a fraction of the time!

Come on, who's with me. We'll start by climbing microwave towers, and see who can sit up there the longest before feeling ill. Extra points to the person who lives the longest afterwards.

Yeah yeah Festy. I know. But comming from experience it would be a lot better when you get older and look back saying "Man...I'm glad I didn't conform and do all that stupid stuff". Rather than what I have to say, being "Man...I was such an idiot..." I enjoy a drink every now and again, but I don't take it over my own limits. A post titled "Beer is Goooooood" that was created by a minor is just childish. But hey, it's your life people. Do with it what you will.

I love beer. I drink beer almost every weekend. What I don't do, though, is drink beer and make a retarded post on a MUD forum. Usually if I'm at home after drinking and decide to check a forum, I've got enough motor skills and judgement not to type something as dumb as that.

The drunkedness in this post is purely psychological. You're not drunk enough to do something as dumb as this. You just think you are.

Don't drink and post. Please.

Conform - to act in accord with the prevailing standards, attitudes, practices, etc., of society or a group.

You go to a party, everyones piss drunk and dancing thier butts off.(whee)

You start getting piss drunk and begin dancing your butt off.(whee)

You just conformed.

I'm 23.

It's not going to get you anywhere you want to go guys. I'm just being honest.

There's a difference between conforming because it's the expected behavior and conforming simply because you happen to enjoy that behavior. I'd say the first is a bad reason for doing it, the second a good reason (depending on the behavior). To use your example...

You go to a party, everybody's drunk and dancing. You get drunk and dance with them, because you enjoy those activities.

You've just conformed, sure, but is conforming for personal reasons a negative?

'I don't need to drink and do drugs to have a good time, I just need you to drink and do drugs to have a good time.'

I drink, when I feel like it, which has been once in six months. I had wine on my birthday, though I was alone so maybe that cancels out the highscore on 'I'm cool because I don't drink'-o-meter.

Anyways, but yeah, drink because you want to, not because you have to. And aslong as you had fun doing it, and you aren't telling minors to go out and drink, glad you like it. I like other things, like rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens...
