BigMac
Since HBWillie posted that he'd give a damn about a legitimate thread about beer, let's talk beer. What's your favorite beer? What kind of beer do you like? Do you not like beer? What do you like, then? Don't like Alcohol? Don't drink? What do you drink? I'm a huge fan of Corona although I haven't had it in a while because the girl I used to drink corona with and I aren't really friends anymore. Yeah. Lame. Lately I've been drinking Miller High Life or Dos XX. I'm a fan of most Hefeweizens though; Sam Adams makes a good one. Kilians Irish red is sweet. Micros are good too, but there are far too many obscure ones out there to have a discussion about them with such a diverse crowd. I dig Shiner Bock and Lone Star, 'cause I'm a redneck like that. I don't really like wine, but I'm a sucker for good scotch...just like Ron Burgandy. Glenlivet! Wewt! And a good bourbon-seasoned cigar? Man. I drink lots of regular (not green) tea, water, and Dr. Pepper.
WarriorCleric
When I did do my drinking, I was mainly a Guiness Man. For the harder stuff, Jager. But I don't really know what happened, but my drinking window was short, just the taste of beer and most liquors make me feel god awful. I like Wine, but not enough to really drink it often, but as far as wines go, I like rieslings. But mostly I live off of Generic store brand Root Beer, and Orange sports drinks. MysticR
I am not old enough to drink yet, but I don't like beer. My parents have given me beer before, and no, I didn't like it. I do like wine, though. Vodka isn't too bad when mixed with other drinks. I also drink Pepsi, green tea, milk, and 7up.
Belegriel
Miller High Life Light has taken over my taste buds lately. Guiness is my favorite beer, only I can't drink many of them. Harp runs a close second. Jaeger bombs if I drink anything else besides beer. That about covers it.
The Forsaken
No ones a fan of good ol' Blue Ribbon? Yeah, me either. After my frat stage and my fights with Jack Daniels I switched to wine mostly. I enjoy the dry wines. Pinot Blanc is a favorite. Beer? Miller. Sometimes Corona with a lime. Liquor? Crown Royal on the rocks is about all I'll do. If I'm out at a mexican resteraunt sometimes I'll do a margarrita on the rocks. Can't stand them frozen. Deykari
ginness is nice. Budvar (the Chezech stuff) is very nice, but expensive. when i'm out in a club i usullay drink double vodka & red bull (typical british night-out drink), or if i'm just having a normal drink in pub i stick with a pint of Fosters or Carling. budget? You can get bottles of beer (of a brand called "FRench Lager" - no joke!) for £3.00 for 8 bottles from your local ASDA. I'm a serious lightewight though. Really can't handle my beer Dey. Belegriel
I'm going to give you a tip Dey, you're not supposed to drink the yellow snow. That's why you can't taste the alcohol in it.
Fear, the Angel's Name
I hate beer, it is disgusting. I can pound shots of Whiskey and Brandy like there's no tomorrow and I put just about everybody I know under the table when it comes to alcohol. elfdude
Spotted cow, PBR, Mickeys for the fourties, and whenever im out at the bars you'll see me nursing a vodka tonic or tequila sunrises. Those two drinks are the best alcohol per dollar in every single bar i've ever been to. I enjoy gin when I feel like not remembering anything, and whiskey is fun but overdone around my parts. I occasionally splurge on a bottle of Gray Goose and oh yea I love rum. Captain's Special stock is great but expensive, but regular captain and bacardi are great liquors. I enjoy alcohol very much, I have to im from wisconsin

corpsestomp
I'm mostly about beer, Busch Light, Budweiser, and Busch Ice are good. I can't stand Corona, I think it tastes and looks like piss. I think I've only ever had one Guinness in my life, and I wasn't too impressed. When I drink beer, I like to drink a lot of it, so I like light beers. For liquor...vodka is my arch enemy. Vodka likes to find me in the middle of the night and make me chug it. But if I'm drinking liquor, it's usually vodka. Also, I really don't like mixed stuff, I'd rather feel the burn. I probably drink like 40-60 oz of Mt. Dew a day, or water. I hate milk, except skim, which I can manage.
BigMac
I could never get a taste for anything dry. I hate vermouth, both sweet and dry, and I can't stand any sort of dry wine. Most of the wine I've ever had was overseas, and french wine is typically dry...which just disgusts me for some reason. I never really got into stout beers either. The taste of blood and vinegar together just don't go over too well with me. Yeah, that's what they taste like to me. Most people disagree, but eh. To each their own I must say. One of the executives I met with last week (bigwig for a southern california isp) made a comment, "Bud Light? I've got a job. I don't have to drink that stuff." One of my fellow employees (the linux nerd that I mentioned in my job post) said, "Well rub it in, why don't you?" (because she makes probably 6x what he and I do) That killed me. I just thought I'd share.
a-guitarist
Bud Light? Bud Select when I'm feeling classy. You, Sir, can drink with me anytime. For beer I drink Bud Select. I used to be a bud light kinda guy, but once I tasted select it just stuck. Canadian beers are just too 'thick' for my tastes, so that rules out Guiness. I don't mind a smithwicks every now and again, and Killian's Irish Red is a nice change of pace. Lately I've found Rolling Rock to be appealing. Liquor is strange for me. I enjoy mixed drinks, as for some reason I don't enjoy straight shots. Too many bad nights with that when I was young and stupid. Well, I'm still young and stupid, but at least not in that regard. I enjoy two shots of Jager in a cup with a full redbull, but that gets expensive. As much as I'm embarassed to admit it, Sex on the Beach is a tastey drink aswell. Wines are my love, although I haven't had them much. I live within miles of quite a few good New York State wineries, so I like to go on wine trails when I can. Although I haven't in awhile. Riesliengs are my favorite, the semi drys. Dry wines are hit and miss with me, and the very sweet wines I'm not a fan of either. Hazlet's Red Cat is a good sweet, red wine. Also, their Cabin Fever is a decent 'blush'. If I'm just not in the spirit for spirits, I tend to stick to Dr. Pepper or Seltzer. And when my teeth have had enough of that sort of stuff, water is a fine sub. I'm not a huge fan of micro breweries, but if you are ever in Troy, NY, check out the Troy Town Pub and Brewery. It's right on the hudson and have some amazing beers. Also, if you're not into drinking or don't feel like it, they make some homebrew sodas. a-g
Marc
Canadian beers are just too 'thick' for my tastes, so that rules out Guiness I was really under the impression Guinness was Irish. Anyway, I like a wide variety of beers, although you probably havn't heard of many of them up there in the Northern hemisphere. New Zealand beers: Speights, Tui, Monteiths (not actually sure if that is NZ or not) and lately I've taken to drinking a beer called Southern Gold, mainly because I got a mate (forum handle of Bl3h) who works at a liquor store and we can get 24 of them for 19 NZD (translates to about 12 USD, about 7 pounds) Don't taste too bad. As for imports, I like Newcastle Brown Ale, Kronenbourg and Sol, havn't really had much of anything else cause imports are bloody expensive here. WarriorCleric
I was really under the impression Guinness was Irish. He was talking about it's thickness... HBwillie
What's your favorite beer? My favorite beer, which is also relatively cheap when compared to most other beers, is only sold in the magnificent state of TEXAS. That's right, I'm a Lonestar beer drinker. Miller light runs a close second. Do you not like beer? What do you like, then? If I'm choosing an alcohol besides beer, I'll say...Wild Turkey w/honey or Rebel yell. I keep it real. Real inexpensive. Don't like Alcohol? Don't drink? What do you drink? Milk. Lots of it. I love blue powerade, because powerade > gatorade. I drink red bull too often. I'm a tea drinker, and Mountain Dew surpasses all carbonated drinks in my opinion.

I like my vodka drinks - especially the vanilla vodkas (Stoli Vanil takes teh cake, although Vanilla Absolute works in its absence), and I LOVE martinis. Up. Shaken. Maybe drop in a cherry.
