Mudder
It says it removed all negative effects from being drunk. If thats true, why do you still have the ogre speech? Thats like the main reason I picked this perk. Wondering if its a bug or not.
Wathok
I always thought the slurred speech is a positive effect...
Mudder
So is the perk going to be altered to normal speech or should I start over with a different perk? What negative effects of being drunk are there? I thought the speech was the only one?
CruelEdict
Thinking. Tsk tsk tsk. So is the perk going to be altered to normal speech or should I start over with a different perk? What negative effects of being drunk are there? I thought the speech was the only one?
Celerity
There are some things that alcohol does that drastically affect stats. (on par with protection and dwarves on water type stuff)
Dale
I have studied alcohol for a while now, and I don't know much about it. I know it affects how well your skills work. I think it makes you train faster. Sometimes it feels like it makes you heal faster. And the speech is funny. If you drink it enough, you won't have to drink water and very little food. Ajindaar
I too have studied alcohol for quite some time, and came to a few results. You can sleep some 14 hours straight after a long & thirsty night. It's not really regenerative though, nor is it for your girlfriend (read: snore, rolling around in the bed, sleep-talking, etc). Time goes by much faster (although I'm not really sure how to prove that point). An ogre-like resistance to pain is a nice thing to have; without alcohol I tend to not hurt myself that often though. Beer is a good substitute for food as it fills your stomach and quenches both thirst and hunger. Downside: after a few beers I often eat twice as much. After some two-digit shots of Vodka I perfectly understand everyone. Downside: everyone else not having the same level of intoxication has a hard time understanding what I try to say. It's a great booster for socializing, and heavily increases my skill at picking up one nighter's. Downside: scary memories of whom you wake up with next to you.
