Nightmare_from_hell
Okay... so here I am, taking a class for Microsoft Access and come to find out that when I try to find the program on any of my Windows disks, it's not on any of them... I've tried my Windows XP Small Business disk, tried resource cd's... nadda. Can anyone help me out with this program? Thanks!
BigMac
It comes with Office. If you go through the office installation wizard, Access should be on there...atleast I'm pretty sure it is. Or you could be a real pro and just write your own table structures in plaintext.
WarriorCleric
Yeah, I think its part of office, aswell. WC

Chayesh
Go to your start menu (the little button in the far left corner of your taskbar) and place your cursor on "Show All Programs". If you have Office XP, you should have Microsoft Access. It is listed as its own entry with the other Office suite applications. What version of Office XP do you have? Nightmare_from_hell
Here's the version... Windows XP Home with SP2. Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Word are the only ones in the start menu... no access... (Had a screen shot for it but it is too big...)
WarriorCleric
The question was what version of Office XP do you have, not what version of Windows XP. Office XP would be the office package. Whatever disk has your office programs on it has access if you have access at all. If not, I am sure there is some version of open source software that does the same thing and has compatibility. WC
Chayesh
I ask because there are, like WC said, different version of Office XP. I think to have Access, you need the professional edition, but I could be wrong. A simple search of the Microsoft Office website should tell you.
