I got all stoked about playing one of the later ones (I forget which one) only to discover that it sucked big time. It was the one where one of the seconday characters uses a beach ball or something in fights. Ridiculous. In general, however, I'm a big fan of the series.

I loved 10 for the [almost] sole reason of blitzball. I would absolutely positively without a doubt buy a FFBlitzball game. I truly hope they realize it was awesome, beef it up, improve the visual quality and ship it out. I put at LEAST 40 hours on 10 on blitzball alone.

Seven rocks(I love it), I -like- eight, not love, not hate. I liked nine as well. Eleven entertains me for hours, and I liked tactics. Twelve has my vote for the best of the series.

7, 8, 10, Jap6, Jap3

Those are probably my favorites in order form highest to lowest. And the distinction between 7 and 8 is debatable, I liked them both alot (after I went back and played 8 again).

Blitzball was fun, too bad I never had the patience to really sit there and play it...it'd be a good time waster...hmm, I see my FFX case, I might just go start a new game.

I do not know how anyone could not like FFX. The game was brilliant in so many aspects. I loved being able to switch characters during battle. That was a great idea. Blitzball provided me with hours of fun.

Granted - Tidus was weak as a main character when compared to Cloud, but honestly, how many FF main characters were as cool as Cloud? Tidus was really a comic relief type of character, along with Wakka. But, how can you NOT respect Auron? He is easily one of my favorite FF characters.

You can switch characters in 12 too.

Limit breaks are in, just under a different name. And you can chain them together. I've been able to chain 5 so far.

You normally have 3 people in a party...but sometimes you take on a temporary group member called a guest, which your 3+1 party is uber.

Summons are in, of course. You defeat an Esper and you gain the summon for that beast. I've only got one so far and he's sort-of like a new-age Ifrit. Only 1 char that you choose is allowed to summon the specific Esper. The next one you get, you can choose who you want to be able to use that one. Once you summon it, the Esper and that character are the only one on screen. The Esper stays with you for a set time and at the end of that time, if he's currently fighting, he will unleash his "big" attack. My dude does Hellfire (ifrit-like) and it's sweet ****.

My favorite Final Fantasy character of all time would have to be Cid Highwind, Final Fantasy 7. My second favorite character is Cecil from Final Fantasy 2. I can't really decide which version of him I like more, the Dark-Knight or the Paladin... I like his development throughout the whole game, really.

Third favorite is of course, everyone else's first favorite... Cloud Strife.
