FatMike
rolling humans sucks!
sixfeetunder
i think it's been said before that the 54 is only on a few select classes, generally i think it's 53 which isn't too hard to get.
Mister E
I agree, rolling humans is tough. They are the only race I ever played where my stats werent maxed by lvl 15, 20 tops. Some race/class you can have your stats maxed by lvl 10!
FatMike
I've had faerie, giants, elves, and drow maxed at 1, sliths by 10 and humans somewhere around 25 I guess.
Mister E
Natural maxes as 1? Or you counting rings of life etc?
FatMike
maxes with the three you get upon creation. faeries and elves/drow always max at 1 if you take long enough to wait for the roll.
sixfeetunder
fire giants (at least warriors and zerks) actually start with 1 extra train if you roll max (you only need 94 pts. to max, a 52 gives you 95 to play with).
Zrothum
ugh...I rolled a 56 on a elf before and Im pretty sure it didn't max at
FatMike
I'm pretty sure my latest elf did, but then again it won't be the first time i've been wrong, or the last.
Warpnow
Pretty sure 56 doesn't max an elf.
H&R
18+25+20+23+18-8*5=64 64-3=61 Ever rolled a 61?
crackwilly21
Storm giant maxes at 52, I usually get 53 for 1 extra train.
English lad
Is this on a particular class people are getting 56's on elves? Whats the maximum anybody here has got lately on an elf pally?
krounoi
Set your roller at a crazy high number like 56 and let it roll for 40,000 rolls, and then see what happens.
Mister E
Or if you dont have anything else to do while rolling and are anxious to play, go the adventurer route. They share many skills and spells with a pally anyway.
English lad
Did that kroun got 12 54's
krounoi
Looks like a 54 is what you should settle upon. Go adventurer instead, and that way you can train things and get some extra practices to make up for it. Course, you may want the adventurer perk. Mister E
yep yep, if you are smart you will hit 15 very fast once you guild, and if you are very smart, you'll be decked at 15 too.
English lad
Err how exactly does going adventurer help me with trains, am I being a little slow here?
Mister E
By the time you choose your guild you will have all your stats maxed, also you will have many skills maxed too, so even though you will go back to rank 1 with -3 to -6 trains depending on race/class, you will have stats maxed, and have many pactices that you can convert to trains. Mister E
Could an Imm who knows for sure post an accurate list of max rolls? Maybe even say what race/class rolls vary? I have been trying to roll something for 2 days now and I set my bar 1 point lower than the posted max, im starting to get annoyed.I want to play!
krounoi
Classes can change these numbers, and sometimes they change due to Imp tinkering perhaps even, so NO, you won't get an immortal/coder coming here to post the EXACT maxes. These are simply things that people learn from trial and error. And if I know Viri, he would have probably built in a randomizer or some even thing that would give a special bonus if you were rolling on the fourth day of the month at exactly noon or something. These are guidlines, and probably about all you are going to get. Take your best roll, and go play.
