CruelEdict
Socialist? Democrat? Same thing. So you want to rob from the rich and make everyone poor? Good stuff. I am just eager to see what this will do to Conservatives, as they need a hell of a wake-up call before they lose this nation to their own laziness/apathy/fear. I'm socialist. Virginia won by Demo's. Republican will probably issue a recount though, so we won't know till the 13th or so.
Iyorvin
Lmao, yeah because robbing from the rich deff makes everyone poor. Guess the money just disappears. No, but I feel I have a social responsibilty to the world, and people as a whole, to help those less fortunate then I. To make sure the the needy get health care, the poor ethiopian genius to have a shot at making his mark. To thrive on existance and an equal chance for all, no matter what your background is. CruelEdict
You see a world that you are apart of. I see myself as apart of a nation, who owes the world nothing. My stance is staunchly against globalism and I could care less about the Ethiopian "genius" (which I assure you, is still classified as retarded by the Western World at around 70-80 IQ) gets a crack at upper management at a New York Starbucks at our taxpayers expense. What I meant by Democrats (aka Socialists) robbing from the rich to make everyone poor, was a statement on their desire for what equates to a redistribution of wealth (pseudo-Socialism), which favors the poor and would not bring the "poor" out of their rut, but will certainly take money from those who have it (which does not mean rich, it means anyone above the poverty bracket). I am almost glad the Democrats won so many elections, because they will run this nation into the ground and provide a much needed swing back in the Conservative direction (not Republican/neo-Conservative), but true Conservative). Lmao, yeah because robbing from the rich deff makes everyone poor. Guess the money just disappears. No, but I feel I have a social responsibilty to the world, and people as a whole, to help those less fortunate then I. Questioner
True conservatism is good. Moderates of both side is better. There must be a balance in thinking. Iyorvin
Tindal: It's funny, the top three countries in the world who share the best standard of living all tax heavier on their rich, and redistribute it in the form of health care, welfare, and other social programs. Note: I don't have a degree in poli sci, my views are entirely from looking at facts, numbers, and then asking myself why.
Pali
Actually, Tindal, studies have shown that the average IQ of someone living in a hunter-gatherer society is a bit higher than the average IQ of a US citizen. This doesn't surprise me, as any idiot can find a way to live in the US, but you have to be smart in the wild to survive.
The Lemming
That would be the average US citizen. Then you have freaky US citizens like me with a 133 in first grade. CruelEdict
@Iconz - I don't actually have to prove any of my statement whatsoever. If you feel the need to dispute that which I said, prove it otherwise with your own facts. Or point out a grievence in my post specifically and I can provide information, but otherwise I don't need a degree to explore common sense and common knowledge, which much of that was. @Iyorvin - I hold in disdain Socialism, but no less the cut-throat world of capitalism. I myself am a Corporate Nationalist, which is different than both, but borrows from both in many ways. It also does not help I feel that neither party really represents the best interests of America any longer, hence the dislike of Democrats (and to a lesser degree, many Republicans). I don't doubt many countries are successful economically with such programs, but socially I doubt they would be prime examples (though that is a matter of opinion in itself anyhow). @Questioner - Moderates are what we have. That is what America has been reduced to, but such is the nature of a two-party system that must appeal to some 300 million people. They can't be too far one way or another, as they must appeal to so many. Of course, in my opinion, we are a very liberal nation, along with much of the West now, and that needs to change drastically, or we will be due for a serious decline in the near future both economically and more seriously, socially. Tindal... you swear that you are educated... can you please show me your PhD in Political Science or Economics? What is your IQ? What college or graduate school did you graduate from? CruelEdict
The IQ dispute isn't a fun one. Though for all intents and purposes, the average IQ of Ethiopia is something around 65-70. Africa as a whole, which is generally a "hunter-gatherer" society, is extremely low in IQ. It takes a lot higher of an IQ to do farming, as that takes planning and whatnot. Also, due to the climate/region, less advanced thought went into preparing for seasonal changes, hence a trend of higher IQs in Europeans and those of European ancestry. So I beg to differ, Pali. American IQs average about 100. I would call that a bit of a gap. Actually' date=' Tindal, studies have shown that the average IQ of someone living in a hunter-gatherer society is a bit higher than the average IQ of a US citizen.
