Pali
*shrugs* I see the class as relevant as any course in Greek mythology. The vampire is a myth that is thousands of years old, and one that just about everyone has heard of. I've literally talked with someone for two hours about vampires, mentioned Zeus, and their response was "Who's that?"

WarriorCleric
Greek Mythology is what an entire culture was based on and a culture that was a basis, debatably how much but was in some way, of modern society. There is a vested interest in history, antiquity, artifacts, of the greek era, and studying the classics, including their mythology, and religions, creates the background needed to go into the fields of archeology, anthropology, and like styled fields. Now, I'm not dogging anyone for taking these types of classes(vampires, harry potter, etc), I took Philosphey in Pop Culture(I had to, I enjoyed it, but for as much as I enjoyed it I hated it for a waste of time). I'm saying it's a waste of a perfectly good(assumption) educator. edit: And I guess to some degree, I feel they are a waste of time. But that's entirely your call. I find classes within my major more interesting than that, for instance I am taking Games Theory this semester, and it's a blast. WC
Pali
*shrugs* I find the entire myth of the vampire fascinating, and this is an interesting way for me to see a lot of the major development of it. So, for me, not a waste.
