I'll start things off... I'm 22 and I'm currently employed in a upscale restaurant learning to be a chef...the guy i apprentice under is from sweden and man he can cook...I've thrown my hat into all kinds of endeavors Did a bid as a Sawyer(industrial saws rock!) and before that I was a HVAC technician. trying to get good wrok experience so i have plenty to fall back on. I put off college or tech school when i got out of high school though i do plan on gettign a degree in something eventually, my problem i can't figure out what i really want to do with my life... Mister E
Im a 24 year old student in theatre. I love to act and I will see how far it will take me. If it doesnt go far I will sign up to teach english abroad. After high school I dropped out of college and travelled the world, I also worked a ton of crappy jobs, but you learn a lot that way. I basically gave up drugs and alcohol recently to go back to school and do something serious.

WarriorCleric
I'm 23, I'm a student at the University of Buffalo majoring in Mathematics, but I've near finished that and I've got a year left so I am trying to get into the Economics program as well, but we'll have to see about that. I've been working for the past two years, give or take, as a computer service technician(certified and all that jazz) until new management came in and I was told 'I'm affraid this is where we part ways.' I'm still feeling pretty bitter about that, I pour myself into my work. I just got a new job at UB's Residence Halls & Apartments tech staff. Um... I don't smoke or do drugs, and I very rarely drink. I-Brake-4-Minotaurs
22, going to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro (about 30 minutes outside of Nashville). Getting my major Recording Industry and Management: Production Technology and a minor in Computer Science. I'm hoping to get into either Sound Design for movies, which is essential doing sound effects or taking a few more years and go into audio engineering which is designing room acoustics, acoustics software, etc. But I'd have to go to an actual engineering school to do that. I've probably been every major under the sun, from mathematics, computer science (luckily the courses I already took when it was my major carried over to my minor now), to chemistry and pharmacy. Merriwren
20, In school majoring in Fashion Design with a minor in French. Like Mister E I also plan to go abroad teaching english when I get out of school before going into the fashion industry. Right now I work part time at Victoria's Secret but I am in the process of applying to be an RA. No drugs, barely drink (lack of time and somewhat lack of interest), but love to dance. IB4M - What exactly are the courses like in pharmacy? I've always wondered but I don't know any phramacy majors.

a-guitarist
I'm 23 years old, and currently unemployed. I've been to community college where I had 3 majors over the course of my stay there (English (lib arts concentration), Audio-Radio Production (Telecommunications), and Business Administration), and also attended ITT Tech where I studied Computer Network Systems. I dropped out of both due to complications and side affects from meds after a diagnosis of Schizophrenia in 2002-2003ish time period. I'm now in the process of ending my chemical lobotomy and coming off the meds, and have never felt better. Turns out it may have been a wrong diagnosis. Currently easing my way back into school now, heading in line for a Geographic Information Systems degree at Cayuga Community College. I have worked on an Erie Canal cruise boat where I'd cook 3 meals a day for 40 people, clean heads (old people crap a lot, and man is it nasty), handle lines, take care of lodging, and more. Also worked in the photo department at a drug store, in a library at a college, and as grunt labour for the village I live in. a-g
Grumpy
Just turned 24, first Major was in Acturial. Worked for AIA Insurance for half a year. Absolutely hated the job which involves calculating how likely people are likely to die. Now I am studying Computer Science, I love it and I work as a part time programmer. Tom
It seems that early twenties is about the average age of a FL gamer so far. It makes sense; most older aren't that into gaming, most younger are too enthralled in moving pictures.
