I remember these kind of threads in the early days of FL1 forum. It seems strange to see so many people so much older now but still playing. Interestingly it would appear the new people attracted to the game are older than people attracted in the early days - are all the mid-teenagers playing WoW or something and the older people fed up with MMORPG?

Basically. I've tried converting a few in my dorm to FL, but their saves are too high.

18, senior in high school. Plan on taking a year off if all goes well, then going to ASU for majors in Game Design and Programming, with a minor in Business Management. Guess I've been around since 1.0... So I was about 13 or 14 when I started playing. In... Middle school... You guys have seriously messed me up.

Currently working as a tech in... Circuit City where I've learned to hate people and where I learned that corporations really are trying to screw people over.

Off topic'ish: The average age of the MMORPG player is twenties I believe. And 'trying' to find the average gamer it keeps pointing to 30. 30 seems way to high for me but meh. But MMORPG thinking, you gotta remember it'd be 'hard' enough for a 13 year old to handle it let alone get money from mom and dad. It's a lot of older people.

Man...its easy when your 10-13 to play Massive multiplayer games because you have NOTHING ELSE TO DO, then you get into high school and it gets harder...and I can only assume harder in college. And, as for cost, it just depends what you play, the massive multiplayer games through gamespy or others are free.

And I forget who told me this, but here is something funny.

Mostly

Men

Online

Role

Playing

Girls

When you say ASU do you mean Arizona or Arkansas State University?

Make sure you use the right ones. You need drugs that lower their mental saves' date=' some enhance them.[/quote']

Problem is, we always do drugs together, so I run the risk of losing 10% proficiency in converting them to FL while under the affects.

Im not american so it isnt always obvious to me' date=' like in the NFL when the player says im from "The U" wtf is that?[/quote']

A lot of times players will say THE University of Blah because that state might have more than one university with the state's name in it.

For example, I've heard players from University of Florida say THE University of Florida as sort of an insult to Florida State University (like saying they are the ONLY university in Florida).

Chayesh' date=' these guys didnt even bother with a state. Just "The U"[/quote']

Then it has nothing to do with you being Canadian because I have no idea either.

Are you sure it wasn't a letter or word then U? Like Mizzou (Missouri State University) or Wazoo (Washington State University)?

C'mon, some of these guys are pretty articulate, and surprisingly so.

Correy Dillon for the pats looks like a tough typical workhorse running back, ever hear him? He talks like carlton from Fresh Prince. Total Nerd!

That is what we call breaking RP, you should scribe a note to the immortals.
