Had some parties to chose from.

Picked the one with the hottest girls. Its gonna be exciting ;)

edit: but yeah I think its completely overrated. The evening does not matter to me any more than any random friday or saturday - I just go because I get invited and have fun like I would if it was any other party...

Yeah, everyone always hypes it up but if you go to a club or bar, they're overpriced, too crammed full of people and taxis back are triple price. And it ends up being the same as any normal night apart from at 12:05 people start counting down from 10 to 0, that drunk to realise that it's already passed midnight.

House parties and the like are the way forward for NYE - cheaper, and filled with the people you'd want to spend the night with. Heading out to a cabin sounds great though, bet that'll be a good'n.

Heading down to Atlanta, Georgia on the 30th to watch my Hokies kick some Georgia ***, then from there it's a trip to Orlando on the 31st to party it up with Mickey Mouse and Company while the ball drops. (Ok, I won't actually be in the Magic Kingdom on the 31st/1st, but I'll be close enough.)

My roomate's cousin is a professional club/party promoter in Orlando so we get to rock out in the best clubs with the best drinks for free. I'm stoked.

Yeah the cabin idea sounds like a sure fire winner. I have done a lot of things for new years over the years and it is always overrated, overhyped and overpriced. At the moment its between going to a club up town where theres a pool party and the theme is beach wear (duh) oh and this is in london by the way gonna get pretty cold outside but the theme is a beach party  .

The other option is a hotel where you get fed, get drunk and with luck get taken to bed :D by something closely resembeling a female  . Third is a late night pub and house party, which is my favored option, as the others cost way to much. Though im getting the cant be bothered to go out mood due to all the organising, some places you have to buy tickets two weeks ago, I mean come on.
