I am a design technician (in training) for military aircraft, for BAE systems. My 'claim to fame' (and by fame, I mean, amongst the 17 people in my office) is that I worked on a modification for a fleet of RAF aircraft that involved new friend-or-foe identification radar units and turning a gun-pod into a baggage-pod.

It's alright, but I always make it sound better than it is when I'm out and I've had a drink to people who ask me about it. :D

I'm still going to school, so I don't have terribily interesting work, but I work on campus at the University's Residence Halls and Apartments IT department. I still in a little hovel with a phone, and remotely install printers, or reinstall office, or maybe I might get to go on site and switch out some ram. Most of the time there isn't much to do besides class work, so it's nice in that sense, but I only pays a bit above minimum wage.

I also work as a 'Product Demonstrator' so on the weekends I dive out to various stores, Bestbuy, Circuit City, etc. and I pitch the product to the customers. I don't bad mouth other products, I don't lie to the customer, none of that, I also don't work on commission or quotas, I'm just there to help the customer understand the perks of the product I am representing. It's a really fun job because I get payed, and payed nearly three times what I make at the other job, to just tech chat with other people. I get to treat customers the way I'd want a salesmen to treat my mom and dad.

I an Inventory Control Manager for a Cold Storage Facility handling Smithfield' date=' Purdue, Prestage, and Mounaire meats. Not very glamorous but I get at least 5-6 hours of FL time a work night. So I am not a hard working CEO or programmer or anything exciting but it has it's perks....money and FL.[/quote']

Do you mean Perdue and not Purdue? I say this because Purdue is a well known big 10 university that I attend, and Perdue is the chicken company.

Etsoshex' date=' Laser Tag Tribunal[/quote'] Hail yes. I've even got a little remote that I can turn off people's guns with. Woot.

And The Zone's laser tag is, if nothing else, the biggest in all of DFW. 8500 square feet of pure playable space. Nothin' like getting lost in that.

I am a stockmonkey at a warehouse, though I am number two in the warehosue so thats cool I guess... I fill out orders off of the shelves, do all the shipping stuff for the warehouse (band up boxes, get weights, put skids on trailers). I get to chill out and its really laid back, I get to smoke in the warehouse and I party with my manager. Our breakroom is deluxe, cable tv and wallstreet journal every day. I get a raise pretty soon and insurance kicks in too. I'll be going to school next year hopefully, thats at least the plan and I'd like to do something that makes me alot of money, I'll probably just get a two year degree in something in computers.
